🕑 Added 2019-01-03 00:18:57 +0000 UTCCould not have done this without you patrons.Sorry you guys didn't get a sneak peek-- maybe we can do some behind the scenes here.
I made it live soon as youtube made the 1080p versions available. Aaaaand now it's back to 360p. Lovely
Seriously though, this project took 3 months! On and off, as I had time. And you guys made it possible. So thank you THANK YOU thank you!
This is a huge deal, at least for Threadripper users. Because the 2990WX weird performance quirks are not the 2990WX's fault. :D

watch out patrons.sorry will hack your Twitter account :P
The big question is why are the users figuring this out for free - AMD should have worked this out and had Microsoft fix the stupid Windows scheduler. The Windows scheduler has done weird stuff moving processes between cores ever since the very first dual core CPUs came out, AMD should know better and be on top of this testing.

THIS... this right here is why I support L1. It's the ONLY channel on YouTube, that I'm aware of, in the Computer/Technology space that does REAL computer science. More of this please! Thanks!

With rumors abound of 16 core AM4 chips. I hope windows fix's this issue. Im on linux but I dont like bad press because you cant benchmark correctly on windows.
Your passion and dedication for your craft is not often seen anymore. But hey, maybe AMD/Microsoft you could get a bug bounty for significant optimizations? It's an easier sell to customers when they know workloads aren't going to be kneecapped by "features" like these.

I run tripleback.net and only wish I had access to a 2990wx to play with like that :P
Awesome work, great research, impressive dedication! Thanks Wendell!
