Seems like Uber is spinning self driving off to protect themselves from suits.

In Cyberpunk's defence: you are effectively fighting terminators. They are not "bullet-spongy" - they have subdermal armour and mechanised body parts. Sniper rifles and revolvers still do nearly lethal damage on headshot though.
