Surprised you don't have a Gandalf hat for gardening. Have you tried making your own sauerkraut? It is dead simple and 100 times better than anything you can buy. Even store-bought cabbage works if you don't plant any. You can also make your own hot sauce if you grow some peppers.

I actually dehydrated a batch the other day and they did pretty well! I will try freezing them too. We're slowly running out of space in our deep freezer from all the extra stuff we've got in it haha. -K

If you can't use all the jalapenos, they freeze really well if you cut them up first. You can also make jalapeno jello which is amazing, especially with some cream cheese.
