When the Steam Deck is purchased from Steam, does it first use Steam funds? So if I put a bunch of Steam giftcards in my wallet, will it use those monies to pay for the deck, and let me cover the remaining portion with a CC or something?

Got mine last week, so far it's amazing how the simple act of having a PC with me everywhere means I'm actually playing the games I bought 😆. That SD card is not just the normie option, it's the return of the cartridge! Oh, and a little paper napkin math (# of pixels), shows that if a game is designed to run on the Series S at 1440p - as the console is advertised - then it can run on the Deck at similar speeds.
