Welcome back to our regularly scheduled monthly bonus episode! I have Alyssa back on the mic in this very special episode where we talk all about our trip to see Kit Connor and Rachel Zegler in Romeo + Juliet on Broadway!! Spoiler alert: we really enjoyed it! If you are going to see the show and do not want to hear details about this specific production, here is your major spoiler warning! We talk about some of the scenes in detail. So definitely hold off on this one if you are avoiding any surprises that might be involved in the show.
I have attached pics of all of the signage they had out and the theater entrance with their giant names. Also, at the first show, I took some pics and videos of the preshow before I knew we weren't supposed to. Then on the second day I just grabbed a quick video with the intention of it being just for me. I haven't posted these anywhere for obvious reasons... But I figured it would be alright to just share them here since it is just a small amount of us. Please don't share them anywhere else. (Never attached this many things to one post- let me know if they are not there. I will do something else.)

Also if anyone is interested, I wrote out my take on why I like Man of The House for Romeo instead of Juliet lolololol

Ah ok! Thanks for answering ! I did love it when Harold Perrineau did it in the Baz Luhrmann movie - I think I showed up with a crush on Leo & Claire and left with a crush on Harold!

Yes! To me it felt very similar to the Baz Luhrmann version. Very dramatic and almost a little violent until Kit/Romeo calms them down.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this production! Just curious: did Gabby perform the "Queen Mab" monologue and how did it work? I'm always kind of bewildered by it when it comes up.
