🤫 Secret Art Santa 2023 Sign Ups! 🤫
🕑 Added 2023-11-28 03:45:37 +0000 UTCHellooooo Patrons! I hope you've had a very lovely November! It's been so cold here and almost all of the leaves have fallen off the trees. If you can believe it I've actually started to feel some of the holiday spirit, and am starting to plan for the Art Town end-of-year festivities.
Which means it's time to start planning our second annual SECRET ART SANTA and announce the fifth annual HOLIDAY PARTY!
More details to come in a follow-up post, but for now I just wanted to send this as a save the date. A little later than previous years as I won't be traveling this year, so I hope you'll be around.
I've got some exciting fun activities planned that I'll announce soon, but for now let's get the Secret Art Santa rolling!
Want to exchange some art with your fellow Residents? Here's how it'll work!
1. Comment that you want to be a Secret Art Santa, and share THREE things you'd like an art of from your Secret Art Santa! Like this:
"I want to be a Secret Art Santa! I'd love a roller-skating ghost, my tortoiseshell cat Pumpkin, or a frog wizard!"
2. Sign Ups will END by this Friday (December 1st) at noon PST.
3. That day I'll pair all the Secret Art Santas up and privately message you who you'll be making art for and what they'd like art of, so you'll have three weeks to work on your gift.
4. You'll have until the day of the Holiday party to make an Art gift for your person! It can be a doodle, a drawing, a painting, a photo, a sculpture, an embroidery, a song, an interpretive dance, however you like to get creative! Just try to make sure your person will like it based on their prompts.
5. Take a picture/video of your Art and send it to me in a private DM on Discord whenever it's ready! I'll share them one by one during the livestream and it'll be SO EXCITING!
If you can't come to the livestream party you can still participate, as long as you turn it in by that time! You'll miss the reveal, but can still get and give some art!
Last year this was so incredibly satisfying and fun, you can see (hopefully all of) the art we made and exchanged in the main pic for this post. I can't wait to see who gets paired up and what we make for each other this year.
(Also shoutout Renée who reminded me to set this up…. how would I remember anything without you guys.)
