ok.
last christmas, into janurary, i made a game called project aura 2. it was a sequel to the earlier project aura, about a red head sex android that gains sentience and tries to escape the ship shes on. project aura 2 was similar, she went to a corporate HQ to find the guy that programmed her. but anyone whos played this game knows it was a dissapointment. yes, the game was no doubt far longer, but it was the flash game equivilent to a walking simulator. the key hunting aspect was gone, yet, certain doors were CLEARLY labelled as "key", and were colour coded. also, there were four endings, none of which made sense. there is a reason for this. when i moved over to action script 3, it was a very difficult transition for me, and i couldn't work out how to code the game. i was forced, and by forced i mean, i made myself sick with stress and worry over christmas, to release the game as it was. that was unacceptable. i strive for excellence, regardless of the height of my ability, and i failed every single person awaiting a new game.
that was, until today. where i decided, i owe all of you, all my fans, everyone, better. so ive sat down and not allowed myself a moment of laxity until i learn how to code properly. and after 4 hours of study, ive done it. ive learned how to make games properly.
so im taking a quick break from robin quest 4, to create
Project aura 2: Complete edition
the key hunting element? returning properly. the endings? will finally make fucking sense.
