Body Tape Is a Thing, Right?
🕑 Added 2024-10-20 13:00:05 +0000 UTCFor some cosplays shoots, I really need to get some body tape. The leggings are held up by undergarmets to allow for some flexability when i walk (and a limitation on material, and this looks like I was just undressed and surprised by it.
Well, maybe that fits?

Theres something called Silicone gripper tape. something you can sew on the inside of leggings that might work for this application.

You could just some vinyl tape, without the adhesive that would stay in place if you wrap it a few times, then secure the leggings by Velcro. That would eliminate pulling out your hair

I would think that with the amount of body hair you have, removal would be painful (and leave hairless marks). I very much doubt you would show up to an event not wearing undergarments, so it is not a concern for that. If the idea is to do a nude photo shoot, then, by all means. In this particular photo, however, I doubt anyone is looking at the state of your leggings.

Joann's has some Hollywood fashion tape use for skin to fabric contact. The tush is looking quite plush here.

I honestly wasn't sure if body tape referred to the colorful stuff that athletes have been using in recent years over injured areas, or the stuff that women wearing low cut dresses use to keep everything in place on the red carpet. Apparently it's both! My main worry about using it would be that body tape would painfully rip off body hair like a giant bandaid. But perhaps for cosplay like everything else, pain is beauty?
