A Smuthunter Story
“Hello Peter, it’s wonderful to meet you,” Dr. Angelica Burke’s warm smile and easy poise was remarkably and naturally disarming. Her dark brown eyes, touched by crow’s feet around the edges, were curious and welcoming, and her closed lipped smile revealed natural, and well earned smile lines at the corners of her mouth. “Why don’t you sit anywhere you’d like, and we can talk a little bit about why you’re here, and what I do.”
Her reddish, dark brown hair was up in a simple bouffant, with wavy strands that framed her round face, and she was wearing a simple, light gray flannel skirt suit with a creamy white button up blouse, and it fit well, showing off her wide hips, her pronounced chest, and accentuated both her natural height and her posture. In her black heels, which Peter noticed as he sat on the couch and subconsciously looked down at her feet, she was just above eye level with him.
Dr. Burke was a mature, tall, and curvaceous woman, and all of that enhanced her welcoming energy, and accepting aura. Peter felt like he’d wholly entered her space, and when she talked to him, he felt swept up in her attention. There was an uncanny flattery to being the center of her focus, and she stood over him, looking down at him, before he looked up from feet to meet her gaze.
She was wearing skin colored nylons… and ankle socks?
“I assume you know that while I can practice any number of therapeutic modalities with you, my primary focus is the use of hypnosis.” She smiled at him, pulled up her chair, and sat down with her legs crossed and a clipboard with a pen on her knee. “I use a complex and progressive model of hypnotherapy to create and expand an open dialogue between us, and your inner self to help with emotional awareness, need, and personal interrogation while cultivating a stronger observer self in you, helping you to have a healthier and more complex sense of emotional control.”
Peter nodded along, following the confidence in her voice, and feeling like he was grasping at least most of what she was saying, or at least recognizing the words and the context.
She smiled at him, a patient smile that made her warm and powerfully focused gaze that much stronger and more welcoming. Making eye contact with her made him feel like the world around them was closing down to just the two of them. “In other words, I hypnotize you to bypass the parts of you that get in the way of your health, happiness, and wellbeing, and then we build those parts up to replace, mitigate, and remove your unhealthy patterns of thoughts and feelings. So, do you feel comfortable with that approach? If you don’t, we can do other modes, but this is my specialty, and I believe that it can help you if you try it.”
Being caught in her gaze, meeting her deep, dark brown eyes, was like being a deer caught in the headlights of a car, but instead of the shock of bright lights, it was the welcoming warmth of compassion. Her eyes were full of empathy and as he stared deeper while she explained, listening to her easy, soothing confidence, he felt like agreeing with her. He felt like he wanted her energy in his life.
“I guess? I’ve never been hypnotized before, or really been to a therapist before, I’m just willing to try anything if it will help me feel… I know we talked on the phone, but really… I just want to feel… normal again?”
She folded her hand over her pen, flat on the clipboard, and he saw deep and profound care in her eyes, and a keen smile on her lips. “Well I’m happy to say that hypnosis can be very easy and natural when you open yourself up to it, which you’re doing because you’re here, and there’s no such thing as normal.”
He knew what she meant, but before he could try and correct himself, she nodded along with his unspoken thoughts. “How we feel day to day changes, but we do have a baseline where we can and do feel comfortable with ourselves, and calm and collected in our own minds and bodies. Which,” the smile moved from her lips to her eyes, making them sparkle with a mischievous enthusiasm, “happens to be one of hypnosis’s most organic strengths, and something I also naturally specialize in as a result.”
Peter realized he was hanging on her every word, caught up in her deep dark eyes, and he felt like she was holding him with her gaze, holding him gently as she also stared deeply into his eyes.
“We all want to feel calm in ourselves, and we all want to feel peace of mind when we’re alone with ourselves, and one of the reasons hypnosis can be so easy when you’re open to it is that it can just happen. I didn’t have to tell you to look deep into my eyes, like you are now. And I didn’t have to ask you to relax and let yourself go, or focus on your breathing for us to begin.”
Again, her eyes, her deep, dark brown eyes sparkled with knowing and encouraging mischief, and as he blinked, noticing how softly detached and relaxed he was starting to feel, he felt himself blush under her gaze, and with nervousness.
He shifted a little and shook his head slightly, “How did you do that?”
“Relax Peter,” she picked up her pen and tapped it on the clipboard, “some things naturally happen in conversation, and naturally happen when you talk to a hypnotist. Now, just look deep into my eyes and focus on the sound of my voice.”
Her eyes sparkled with amusement at his nervous shifting, and she laughed as he realized he was looking around the room, and not into those deep, dark, sparkling eyes.
He laughed in response to her laugh, “I’m sorry, I couldn’t help it. But fundamentally hypnosis is a state of singular focus and physical relaxation wherein you become more receptive to suggestion, both from external and internal sources. The conscious mind, or the waking self, when in trance, becomes less critical while the subconscious, which is always receptive and open, takes over. You don’t have two parts of your brain, this is just a description of how we function. And when you intently pay attention to someone, and when you try not to get nervous, you tend to open yourself up to trance more naturally and easily.”
She nodded as she spoke, and steadily tapped her pen on the clipboard, “You were paying attention to every word I said, and you were doing little things we all do to try and manage our nervousness, so you were focused and trying to relax, does that make sense?”
He nodded.
“And as a hypnotist, and I feel like you’ll understand this, even when I don’t mean to I can still accidentally, or subconsciously use the skills I have to help people naturally make their way into trance. So, I’m sure you can imagine how easy it is for me, when I try, to make it very easy for my subjects to find themselves staring deeper into my eyes as everything else starts to fade away.”
She nodded again and he nodded again as he stared deeply into those deep, dark eyes again. “And it feels natural too, doesn’t it? Just to stare deeply into my eyes, noticing the sound of my voice becomes more clear as everything else becomes softer and quieter in the background of your narrowing awareness now, doesn’t it?”
She nodded with every question, and Peter nodded along in agreement as the sound of the pen’s steady, monotonous tapping grew softer and softer as he stared deeper and deeper into her eyes.
“And it’s easy to let go of everything else at those fading edges now, isn’t it? Easier to focus on the sound of my voice and just sit back than to try and pay attention to everything, and the soft, heavy, blurry edges of your fading, falling, sinking awareness now, sinking deeper into my eyes with every word I speak.”
Peter felt his body slump back into the couch as his eyes stayed focused on hers, falling into hers, deeper into hers as everything else fell away into muffled, unfocused softness.
“And when you’re ready to just close your eyes and sink into deep trance for me, it will just happen. And until your mind and body are ready to just let go, sink back, and drop deeper, you can notice now just how deep and dark my eyes truly are. You can see how the brown of my irises gets deeper and darker the longer you stare, almost like my pupils are getting bigger now that you see just how deep and dark, like midnight sleep… deep sleep.”
Peter’s eyes closed and everything felt wonderfully soft, and quiet, and relaxing as a wave of warmth washed over him from head to toe.
“Good, now as you sit with me I want you to just look inward towards how you feel now. Look inside and notice how easy it is as you follow the sound of my voice away from your outer self, and deeper into the sound of my voice as it fills your quiet, sleeping mind. We’re here together now, working on relaxing you, opening you up, and making you feel good about just letting go and being who you are. Hold on to the sound of my voice…”
He felt her move and sit next to him, “Just like I’m holding your hand now, and lead me deeper into your mind.”
She held his hand gently with one hand and stroked the back of his hand with the other, “That’s it, deeper down now, deeper and deeper down into your core. Open up and lead the way past all the parts of yourself that judge and think, that criticize and condemn you with self awareness.”
She kept stroking his hand, but slowed it down to match his breathing, and without a word from her about it, he found himself breathing deeper and slower in time with her caress. He felt like there was a hole in the back of his mind that he was falling into, falling backwards and down into a deepening blackness, physically moving through himself and taking her with him, leaving the parts of himself she talked about behind.
“You’re doing so well, you’re a natural at this, and I can tell we’re there now, deep in the heart of who you truly are and who you want to be. This is the core of your true self, and for you to be you, this part of you moves upwards through your layers of conscious and unconscious awareness. Passing through those layers changes you and tempers you. It also slows you down and gets in your way, because what you want collides with what you’ve learned. And here, with hypnosis, we can connect you to this place and create a new path for your inner self and your deeper truths. This part of you can conquer anxiety and apprehension, this part of you can be fearless and decisive, and even more than that, this part of you can simply be. And don’t you just want to be yourself, Peter?”
Dr. Burke’s voice was so soft, and she was so gentle and caring with him. He felt her closeness, her energy wrapping around him, and a tenderness he had not expected radiating through her hands and up into his body. He felt her pulling him into her aura more and more, like a warm fire on a cold night, and everything about her was softness.
“I need you to answer me Peter, do you want to be yourself?”
She spoke softly and with an undeniable patience that told him she knew exactly how he felt, and what he needed. He understood the touch of mischievous enthusiasm he’d seen in her eyes, and in her approach; what he was feeling was both euphoric and deeply, profoundly and intoxicatingly relaxing. If she’d told him this was how he would feel, he wouldn’t have believed her or been able to reach this place.
“I want to be myself.”
He felt a heavy weight lift from his mind, and his body, and he let out a deep sigh after he spoke.
“I know you do, it’s what we all want, and what we all strive to be and struggle against every day. Now listen very carefully Peter. Everything we are is made up of our inner self, and our outer self. Everything we are is informed by awareness of the self, and all of our awareness is critical, so the only way to truly be what we are is to wholly give ourselves over to oblivion. Let go of listening, let go of thinking, let go of sleeping, and being awake. Let go and let yourself fall even deeper into the sound of my voice. I’ll catch you when you fall, and I’ll hold your truest self and show you how to be yourself fully and completely.”
Peter felt himself falling deeper into the hole in his mind, until…
“...and to help you anchor this state of self, I am going to give you a verbal trigger and a sense memory to help you. You are very open right now Peter, open and vulnerable, because to be our truest selves is to be vulnerable. And you are also vulnerable because deep trance with someone you trust, and you do trust me to go this deep and be this open and vulnerable, is its own powerful vulnerability. Suggestion is a part of vulnerability, and you are very hypnotically suggestible now.”
He floated in warmth and calm, only aware of her voice as she continued.
“The sense memory trigger I am going to give you is a smell, because smell is the sense most powerfully associated with memory, and the way I am going to give you this trigger is to say the word remember and have you inhale deeply through your nose to anchor it. And since you feel so wonderful and open and trusting with me, it’s going to be so easy for you to trust me to do this, to help you, and to give you this trigger that will help us now, and in future sessions.’
He felt her gently brush his lips with a finger, and he opened his mouth, “Close your mouth, let your lips feel natural as they touch, feeling so relaxed as you focus on just breathing through your nose. Now as you focus on inhaling through your nose, notice how your jaw relaxes, making it so easy to fully and completely breathe out through your mouth. IN through your nose, nice and deep, and out through your mouth, easily and fully, This is to help you fully breathe in the anchoring scent, and to help your body recognize and remember just how relaxing it is.”
What she said made sense, because she said it. Why else would she be saying or doing anything that wasn’t to help him? And as he found himself thinking those agreeable thoughts, he noticed how his body was relaxing even more, feeling every exhale causing him to melt more and more into the couch.
His whole body was loose, almost numb with relaxation, and he felt something on his face, pressing down over his mouth… It was warm and smooth, but he wasn’t able to think of what it was as its smell, musky and sweaty… a powerful odor that filled his nostrils as he heard the word “remember” repeated over and over in his ears… and then in his mind, made him stop thinking or wondering, and just sort of… fade…
At some point as he lay down on the couch, unaware of what had happened, Dr. Burke had said, “Whenever you hear me say the word Remember, and you smell this scent, this powerful, potent, and now strangely and irresistibly appealing scent, you will repeat the word back to yourself, and remember how it feels to be in this deeply hypnotized state.”
He lay there listening, open and agreeable, and he heard her let out a soft, warm and contented sigh, “Will you remember that Peter?”
His eyes were still closed, and as she spoke, he felt that same object, that same touch on his lips and right under his nose, and he meant to say “I will remember, Dr. Burke” but the potent, pungent, and truly tantalizing and relaxing scent made everything disappear into the darkness.
“You’ve done so well today Peter,” he was lying on the couch, flat on his back, and as his eyes opened he realized he’d been drooling, and that he was truly disoriented.
“I uh… wow, um… have I been drooling?” He wiped his mouth and tried to sit up, but felt the need to just lie still for a moment and try to center himself.
“Oh it happens, but only for people who go very deep and respond very well. Think of it as a testament to your desire to change and your willingness to improve.” She stood up and stood over him, a soft, easy, and encouraging smile that matched her tone. “Take a few moments to settle and collect yourself here, and come out when you’re ready. I always book extra time for new clients, but you were so good that you have plenty of time to just…”
She looked deep into his eyes and held his gaze, “Relax.”
The word was so soft and strong, and so undeniable that Peter felt his eyes close on their own, and he let out a breath he didn’t realize he was holding. The exhale was a sigh, a deep sigh that came up from his core.
“I would stay and talk with you more, but you’re still very much in a place where even the sound of my voice could keep you deeply in trance. So just rest here, and you’ll come out when you’re ready.”
Her voice faded and he heard her walking away.
His eyes opened briefly, just long enough to realize she wasn’t wearing her stockings anymore, but the thought fell out of his head as he drifted into the soft oblivion between being awake and asleep. A few minutes later he was back up on his feet, feeling rested and recharged, and on his way home, with another appointment on the books.
“Hello Peter, it’s very good to see you and I’m so happy you chose to continue with your appointment. Many people cancel after booking their next appointment, and sometimes it’s a real disappointment when I know that hypnosis can help them like I know it can help you.” She was wearing black slacks and a cream colored silk blouse. Her hair was back behind her ears, and there was a sparkle in her deep, dark brown eyes. “Other times it’s a helpful filter. But I’m so very glad you’re here because I felt that we had a truly strong first session.”
He nodded in agreement and smiled. He’d been thinking about his first session, at least what he remembered of it, especially that strangely pungent smell. He seemed to recall, after a day or so, that whatever she’d had him smell has been strong, and not necessarily his first thought of “pleasant”, but his memory told him that it was a deeply relaxing, and welcoming scent.
A welcoming scent that had tinged his nose with the odor of sweat and body heat and close air.
“How was your week?” She moved her chair over to the couch and sat down before he did. It made him feel briefly awkward as he stood there, and sat down before he answered her.
“It’s been, I don’t know, maybe more peaceful? I don’t quite know what we did last session, I feel like…”
She held up a hand, “Why not just take a deep breath, look deep into my eyes, and focus on the sound of my voice for a moment.”
He sat still and felt his shoulders drop ever so slightly as he stared deep into her eyes. “Just let yourself listen to my words and take a moment to breathe in through your nose, nice and deep, and breathe out any hidden anxieties or doubts, or any wonders or concerns, letting yourself leave them outside of this moment.”
Peter found it very easy, as her eyes started to grow deeper and darker the longer he stared, and as he breathed in deeply through his nose, he caught a hint of… was it sweaty socks? The pungent, unpleasant smell filled his nostrils, but before he could respond to what he first thought of as a stink, it became a warm, welcoming, and soothing perfume.
Peter blinked as he stared deep into her eyes, and he felt a wave of warmth radiate out from her as he saw the smile lines around her lips and her crow’s feet as she smiled at his response.
It felt good to see her smile, it felt good to know he was doing well.
“I did not give you any behavioral suggestions, and I doubt I will give you any this session either, especially not suggestions we do not discuss and plan together. I will, however, help you further deepen and understand your receptiveness to trance, since you are naturally very capable of going very deep with me.”
He felt his chin starting to droop, and noticed that even while his lips were closed, his jaw was relaxing. As he took an even deeper breath through his nose, he felt less like he was doing a breathing exercise, and more like a dog trying to find a scent. As it wafted up into his nostrils again, the wave of serenity, the calming stench, made him breathe out a yawn and close his eyes.
“For some people, they always need a measured and precise induction to help them step away from their outer selves and open up to stepping into their inner selves. Even very strong subjects, like you, sometimes need more than the anchor and the sound of my voice. But it looks like you’re sinking down already. And while that is very flattering, you can just relax…”
The word carried and she stretched out the ‘a’ sound. It was nice, it was familiar, and it felt good. Just the smooth, soothing sound of her voice, the measured, warm tone made him feel safe and open and very comfortable with her.
“And open your eyes, looking deeper and deeper into mine as you let everything else drift away from the sound of my voice.” He opened his eyes, grudgingly almost, until he stared so deeply into her eyes, so deep and dark, like her pupils were expanding into the irises, black turning into brown, brown turning into black, that he didn’t realize his mouth was watering.
He swallowed, breathed in deeply through his nose, and as the overpowering, sweaty, odor of worn socks, or well used sneakers, turned into a fragrant wisp of soft, sleepy, dreamy warmth, he had to fight to keep his eyes open.
“That’s it, let everything else drift away from the sound of my voice so there is just more room for us, just you and me. Just my voice, and just your readiness, and willingness to sink into deep trance…”
The word hung there, and in the silence, he took another eager and confused inhale, as she said the word, “Now.”
Peter’s eyes closed, and he felt himself slump back into the couch, and back into the deepening darkness and emptiness in the back of his mind.
“Every time you fall into deep trance, you fall deeper than the last time, and prepare yourself to go even deeper the next time.” He didn’t so much inhale as he took a long sniff, and whatever the smell was, the soothing, relaxing, irresistible smell was, the source was close. It was so close that it was permeating the air, and it tickled his nose every time he sought it out. The smell was strong, and it should have been unpleasant, but after the tickle of his senses, it made him exhale more fully and completely every time.
“And every time we use and share your anchoring scent, your memory of it and association with deep and necessary relaxation gets that much stronger. And the stronger the relief of deep trance becomes, the softer, sweeter, and more pleasurable the anchoring scent becomes in your senses. Your olfactory receptors are changing the scent even now, responding to your mind and body’s pleasant, and necessary associations. The strong, potent scent, is now a powerful and soothing smell, and you will always remember this.”
He heard her shift slightly in her seat, and the smell grew even stronger. It was even more pungent, so pungent that it felt almost physical, like he was inhaling heavier air. And while the scent sent a spike of disagreeable and potent confusion up his nose until she asked him, “Do you remember?”
“I remember,” the words broke his already muted awareness into smaller pieces, like a half finished puzzle being swept back into the box, and he sighed with a deep and powerful relief as he fell away even deeper into the sound of her voice.
“You’re doing so well, and this is exactly who you want to be. You want to be a good subject so that my hypnosis can help you, and create paths into your subconscious that your conscious mind can simply accept and defer to. You really are doing a fantastic job, and you can feel yourself agreeing to going deeper and opening yourself up more and more. Just remember how the anchoring scent grounds you and leads you deeper, because every time you sink into deep trance for me, you sink deeper than last time, and ensure you’ll go even deeper next time. So this time is just a point you can remember for next time, a starting point for going deeper now, and then deeper later. And do you remember how good it felt when you went so deep last time?”
Peter took a deep breath in through his nose, and sighed with contended, deep release as he felt his whole body melting, “I remember.”
“Good. Now I want you to just focus on the sound of my voice, feeling what you continue to feel, and sensing and processing every calming, deepening and soothing sensation that guides you where you need to be.”
He sensed a desire for a response, and he managed a happy, sleepy, “Mmmmm.”
“That’s it, just like that. And now that we have established an anchor, a pattern, and an expectation, we can begin to work on reinforcing the step in the pattern to help you fully embrace yourself, be who you need to be, and move forward with your life. But sometimes to move forward, we have to take steps we wouldn’t think of on our own, and sometimes we have to do things to show ourselves we are committed to the changes we need to make. And now, since you are in a safe place with me, and you trust me… you do trust me, don’t you Peter?”
Of course he did, he felt so open and so… vulnerable when she asked him about trust. He felt so ready to just do whatever she said, to follow her wherever she wanted to lead him… because… because… he couldn’t find the words, or the thoughts, he just tried to nod and mumbled his own happy, sleepy, warm, “I trust you.”
When he heard himself speak, it sounded more like “Hmmm, mmm hmm”.
“I’m so glad, and I’m so very proud of you Peter. Now I trust you too, and we are partners in this. We need to share with each other, work together, and give to each other fully. For me to truly and deeply connect with you, and help you, I need you to connect with me, and share something with me, to do something with me and for me, to show me and to show yourself that you are truly open, willing, and ready to do the work. And I know you’ll be more than happy, more than willing, and more than ready to take this next step, so open your eyes for me and wake just enough to stay deeply in trance now Peter.”
The darkness turned into a fuzzy, foggy sense of disconnection, and he opened his eyes to see Dr. Burke sitting with one leg crossed over her knee, her foot bare, and a soft, enthusiastic smile on her face. “Just follow the sound of my voice as my words lead you, and as you feel yourself being led, let your conscious mind defer to your subconscious, and give your subconscious mind permission to defer to me. Will you remember to do that for me when I ask you to do something very special for both of us Peter?”
“I’ll,” he felt strange and distant from himself, especially as he started to speak, and especially as he realized the scent, the soothing, anchoring fragrance, was at least in part coming from her bare foot. “Remember.”
When he agreed, the scent of her foot? Her feet? Her pungent smell took on an intimacy, like the perfume of a lover, or the fragrance of an intimate moment.
The change came out of nowhere. it wasn’t something she’d said, or implied, and it wasn’t even something that made its way through his entranced conscious mind. It was simply the fact it was her scent. It was the powerful, personal oder of her…
“Please sit up and rub my feet. I know this is strange, but I went for a very long run today to make sure I was mentally where I needed to be to help you, and when you help me this way, showing me how much you appreciate me, we can break through some deep barriers I know you have, that you simply cannot consciously recognize. And since you do trust me, you will do this, won’t you Peter?”
He’d already sat up, and she’d already extended her foot out to him. As he took it in his hands, the feeling of the skin on her soles, and on her inset felt… familiar? But where he’d felt her soft, smooth skin before, he couldn’t remember.
“Dr. Burke, I’ve never really given a…” He was trying to talk himself out of continuing to rub her foot, and he knew it was become this felt odd, or off, or perhaps more than a little inappropriate, but Dr. Burke gently shook her head.
“Please Peter, you’re doing a wonderful job, and you trust me to tell you the truth, and I will. Please, lift my foot up higher, the closer you bring it to your face, the better the angle for your massage will be, and you want to show me you’ll do a good job, so you will do that. And please, call me Angelica, won’t you?”
He felt the fog in his mind slowly starting to part, but he did trust her, and he did want to do the work and show her he was willing. He pressed his thumbs gently into the ball of her foot as he lifted it up higher, and before he could fully realize that what he wanted to do was please her, the fragrance of her foot wafted over him and the fog followed it.
He felt his jaw loosen and his lips close, while a contented and relaxed smile crept over his face. This was the work, this was what he had to do to be who he wanted to be. And as he massaged her foot, automatically, moving by touch, feeling her body respond to where he pressed, hearing her own measured sighs of relaxation and contentment, he felt himself falling away, deeper into the fog, breathing her scent in more and more until he was barely able to keep his eyes open.
“It’s okay Peter, I trust you, and you trust me. You remember that you need to show me, and show yourself you are doing the work, don’t you?”
He blinked, lost in the swirl of her powerful scent, the feel of her warm skin, and the softness of her words, “I remember.”
He did too.
The feelings of everything she’d said, and the experience of trance, but not the literal memory of every word consumed him as he agreed with her.
“It’s okay Peter, I trust you.”
His eyes were fluttering and his mind was soft, drifting into absence, abandoning him to simply feel.
“It’s okay, I know you want to.”
He didn’t know what she meant, but he felt it.
“I want you to do it too.”
He stuck his nose down towards her toes and inhaled, and as the euphoria of falling into deeper and deeper trance washed over him, he felt himself kiss the ball of her foot.
“Remember, Peter, remember.”
Everything went black as once again her foot was pressed to his lip.
“Oh Peter, I’m so sorry,” he opened his eyes, flat on his back on the couch, “I don’t know what I was thinking.”
Angelica leaned forward and reached under the couch as she spoke, ‘I have no idea why I put these under there.”
She sat up with a pair of running shoes in her hand, socks wadded up inside them.
He blinked, and then he was carried away on a tidal wave of mind numbing, deeply intimate relaxation.
“I want you to feel this way Peter, let it just happen, and feel it become natural. Defer to your subconscious and let yourself feel it happen. You don’t need your conscious mind to decide, especially when you have such powerful desires.. Such… overwhelming…”
Angelica’s words faded into the dark, and a short time later Peter came to on the couch, sitting upright, looking deep into her dark brown eyes. “...and you can remember what was important about this session, and you can remember what you need to remember, won’t you Peter?”
“Yes Angelica.” He took a deep breath in through his nose, breathing in the clean air of her office, and just a hint of her perfume, and for a second it seemed like something was missing… both in his memory and in the air… but it passed. He would remember what he needed to remember.
“Now, we’re on such a great roll together I’d love to be able to book our first behavioral session next week, but I’m having some work done on the office. It’s unorthodox, but I would like to have you come to my home office for our next session, if you would be comfortable with that. I trust you to know where I live, would you be comfortable seeing me there?’
She didn’t have to ask, “I trust your judgment.”
Later, in the middle of the night, Peter woke up with an erection and a disoriented dream that lingered at the edges of his awareness. He thought he smelled something wonderful… something powerful, and familiar, and he tried to hold on to the scent as he started to masturbate.
He breathed in deep through his nose, trying to pull the scent out of his memory and make it manifest in the air, but it was gone. Still, he couldn’t stop masturbating until he finished, and he came hard, back to sleep.
It went on that way every night, sometimes twice a night, for the next week, and every time he woke up, then made himself fall back to sleep, he thought he could still smell it, the perfume, the scent, the fragrance of… he didn’t know, he couldn’t remember, and every morning he woke up with a memory of needing to masturbate to fall back asleep, but the details of everything were a blur.
It didn’t bother him though, he was comfortable with just letting it all go, and even though he hadn’t gotten an uninterrupted eight hours any night, he still felt wonderful and complete. Peter had never felt more whole and more in touch with himself than he did that week, and by the time his appointment with Angelica… he knew he really should refer to her as Dr, Burke, but he felt so close to her that he couldn’t help it… he was excited and ready to do more and to go further.
She lived in a modest, but nice house in the suburbs, and when he knocked on her front door, she looked as surprised to see him, as he was to see her dressed in nothing but black tights, white running shoes that looked strangely familiar, pink ankle socks, and a dark plum sports bra. Her hair was up in a ponytail too, and her look of surprise turned into an embarrassed smile.
“I wrote down the wrong time,” she took a step back from her door, “please come in, I’m so sorry. I’m so…”
He stepped inside and tried not to stare at her, but she was beautiful, and alluring, and warm, and curvaceous and… “Embarrassed. Here, I can take you to my office and take a quick shower if…”
She was standing so close to him, and she smelled so… so… she was still sweaty and he could feel her body heat radiating off her skin… It should have been invasive, or uncomfortable, but his jaw relaxed, his lips closed, and he took a deep breath through his nose. The world went quiet and he felt a deep chord of arousal humming through his body.
Something about her was pulling him closer and she gave him a patient smile, “It’s okay to need a hug Peter. You’re feeling so much and doing so much, and if you don’t mind that I just finished my workout…”
She held out her arms and he walked into her embrace. He felt her body, strong, and soft, and welcoming wrap around him, and he breathed in her scent. Strong, pungent, and intoxicating. His eyelids grew heavy, his body seemed distant, while hers felt closer than close, and she held him, warm and close, and encouraging.
He felt his body melting and his mind slowing into nothingness, emptiness, deferring to the feelings that were filling his mind and body.
“You’re ready,” she broke her hug and looked deep into his heavy eyes, “Come with me to my office.”
He followed her and her body odor clung to him, wrapping around him in an inescapable, sleepy embrace that fogged his mind and made everything else except her disappear. Even his own thoughts were lost in the pungent scent that wafted between acrid, and undeniably intimate and appealing. Every time his nose twitched, and the thin sliver of his conscious mind recognized the stink of sweat and body odor, its soothing, and alluring touch on him became stronger and more tantalizing.
He had become aroused, not quite noticeably but still undeniably, when she hugged him and pressed her body so close to his, and now every heartbeat and every deep breath he took automatically through his nose was making him harder and harder.
“Please,” she turned to face him once he was in her home office, then put her arms around his neck. “Look deep into my eyes Peter, and remember how much you trust me. Do you remember how much you trust me?”
She was all around him again, and he could feel the gentle pull of her on the back of his neck, “I remember how much I trust you.”
He said the words and stared at her breasts that more than filled out her sports bra, and they were slowly getting closer and closer to his face.
“Just breathe deep, remember to just let your conscious mind defer to your subconscious, and let your subconscious just defer to the sound of my voice.”
He stood, bent forward with his face pressed deep into her sweaty cleavage, breathing deeply, and feeling his knees getting weak. Everything was so soft, and warm now, except for his cock which was getting harder while raw sexual heat pumped through it.
“It’s okay Peter, I want you to do it, kneel for me.”
She was so sweet and so gentle as she said the words, and he sank down to his knees under her encouragement and her touch. Then, she pressed her armpit to his face, and as she cradled it there, much more forcefully than when she held his head to her breasts, she started to smother him.
He took a hard, deep breath of her scent, and he tried to push away, but she was so much stronger than him in his state, and he gasped and took an open mouthed breath of her, tasting her scent on his tongue.
“Lick,” she let his face back just enough for him to breathe easily again. “Remember how much you trust me, and remember how much you need to show me, and show yourself this is working, real, and what you need. Lick.”
His tongue gently probed her armpit, tasting her sweat, tasting her scent, and he moaned in warm, submissive pleasure, feeling a part of himself fully let go and defer. She cradled him gently and giggled at the ticklish sensations as he continued to tongue her armpit, then let him go.
“Angelica,” he looked up at her from his knees.
“Yes Peter?” She smiled down at him with her same patient, gentle smile.
“I don’t understand.” The words came and went out of his mind, barely found and barely said, but absolutely true.
“It’s okay, you don’t need to understand Peter. You trust me. You trust me and you’re a very talented and very good hypnotic subject. In fact, since I want to help you I’ll help you understand as much as you can. You’re a natural, and there’s something special about you, something I’ve always looked for, something you have deep inside of you that you need me to bring out, something that will make you whole, and something I want. But change doesn’t happen overnight, or over a few sessions, and deep, powerful change doesn’t happen with demand. So I’m using techniques with you that I’ve been perfecting, to help you become what you want.”
As she spoke, she stepped out of her shoes, pulled off her tights, and walked closer to him, and put one leg over his shoulder, then pulled his face into her crotch and hooked her leg behind him. “Remember, you want what I want, because you trust me. You remember that you want what I want, don’t you Peter?”
His answer was muffled by her crotch, but she stroked his head and said, “Breathe me in.”
He did exactly what she said, and she started to rub herself against his face, moaning ever so softly as she did. It didn’t take her long to climax, and he knew it because he smelled it, and heard her softly moan with satisfaction.
“Breathe in how happy you make me Peter, breathe in how proud I am of you showing me what you are willing to do to be who you want to be, to be who I want you to become.”
The feeling of her wet panties pressed against his face, against his nose, and her encouraging words mixed with the new scent of her pleasure, and the deeply ingrained scent of deep, hypnotic relaxation.
She pushed him gently onto his back, flat on the carpet and knelt down next to him. Without a world she unbuckled his belt, opened his pants, and took his hard cock in her hand. “I want you to do this, and I want you to feel this way.”
She sat down facing his head, and put a socked foot towards his face as she started to stroke him, “Take it off with your teeth, remember where it belongs, and remember what I want..”
Peter gasped and felt his hips arch, he was so close to cumming, so close to exploding, and all he could feel was his arousal. Her words moved through him, pulling his strings, controlling his body, and there was no choice or awareness of how he deferred to her so completely now, he simply listened and obeyed.
He took off her little pink ankle sock with his teeth, and his hands moved on their own, first to wad it up and put it in his mouth, then to start massaging her foot.
She was stroking him slowly, very slowly, and he fell out of his body, out of his moment, and back on to her couch. He was listening to her telling him gently, sweetly, and softly, that his life would be easier if he gave himself over to her as deeply as possible, and that he would be so much happier if he made her happy.
He felt her foot in his hands, massaging it, wanting to kiss it, but feeling her rolled up sock in his mouth, strong and pungent, taken from her hidden shoe, and rolled up before she gagged him with him.
He remembered the sparkle in her eye as he watched her take those shoes from under her coach, and take the stinky, socks out, hidden under him he realized, like a land mine or a boobytrap, that had been inundating him with her odor, but it didn’t matter, because he wasn't thinking, and she told him he wouldn’t need to consciously remember.
Then he was back on her floor, her foot in his hands, her toes close to his nose as she sat and stroked his cock so slowly that he wanted to beg her to go faster, or harder.
She was talking to him, but what she was saying was like her scent, it just engulfed him and left him tranquil, and compliant, relaxing him as much as her slow stroking was exciting him. He felt like the two halves of his brain were separating, like he was fracturing down the core of his being, and all he could do was give in.
““I want you to do this, and I want you to feel this way, I want you to cum.”
He did, and as he started to explode, she took her hand off him, leaving him incomplete as he released, then with her toes, she plucked the sock gag out of his mouth, and shoved and said, “Worship it.”
He ached from his core, teased by the briefest taste of satisfaction, and tantalized by his ruined orgasm into even more deferential obedience. Me massaged and kissed, and licked and sucked on her foot and her toes, and she started stroking him again, just as slowly as before, and as he got closer to cumming again, right up to the edge, she stoped, stood up, took off her other sock, and stepped gently on his face with her pungent, just released foot.
The unleashed scent flooded him as she pinched his nose by spreading out her big toe. “Breathe me in and cum.”
He did both.
Angelica knelt down beside him and stroked his face, “This was a wonderful start. But we have so much more to do today and every day, because changing doesn’t happen all at once, and you have to commit to not changing back. You remember that doen’t you? You remember that you need to be who I want you to be every day, don’t you Peter?”
“I remember.”
Her taste, her touch, the sound of her voice, and the sight of her all captivated and enthralled him.
“I have to be who you want me to be every day.”
But it was her scent that dominated him so completely now.
