Great news!
🕑 Added 2017-12-13 21:15:21 +0000 UTC Some of you may have received word that Patreon was going to start charging you a service fee on top of your monthly donations. There was a huge outcry from the community here and Patreon has decided to put their terrible idea to rest.I was literally panicked for the past couple of weeks since I heard about it because honestly, none of you should have to pay a damn service fee on top of your monthly support for creators. Such a stupid, idiotic idea. They spun the whole thing like it was great for creators because we’d be pulling in more money but no one was having it. Patreon did the right thing, thank god.
I just want you all to know how grateful I am for your support because without you, I wouldn’t be able to make videos. My work has costs and takes a lot of time to put together. Every dollar I receive on Patreon goes towards production costs. Gas, car wear and tear, equipment rentals, audio rentals, post production, paying for help if I need it. It adds up real quick!
I am forever grateful to all of you. One day, I will return this favor. Thank you all so much! -DB
