i come bearing the latest release off the new album, "crawl" :) this song is about the chapter that comes after the knockdown--the chapter where you start to come to again, and though you're weak and hollowed out and broken, you're ready to start trying to put the pieces back together. to me it feels like the beginning of healing. or maybe the beginning of being WILLING to heal. it's about baby steps and celebrating the small wins and giving yourself grace on the occasions you might momentarily stumble back into the dark. "crawl" found its way to me in a dire moment and served as a little mantra i could sing to myself as i ever-so-slowly trudged my way back to myself.
so happy to send this little song out into the world to live its life! i hope it can offer the teensiest bit of light in these heavy times. sending you all love and hope and healing <3

Ooh, this is going to be one of my personal favorites. I don't know if any of my current "life stuff" qualifies as a true "knockdown" compared to other stuff I've been through, but as I was listening to the words and enjoying the perfect visual that you created for it, it made me realize that maybe I didn't fully bounce all the way back from previous knockdowns. I feel related to and driven to look into this deeper. You're a gem.

Such a beautiful song. At first, I didn't really listen to the lyrics, but for some reason I kept playing it over and over. I just could feel the hope and love in the song. When I finally just read the lyrics this song became one of my Kina favorites. It is a nice change. Thanks for sharing! And always we believe in you and keep writing/singing :)

It's hard and super tiring to be my own support, you and Jesse are so lucky! And this song sums up how both magical you both are!!
