🕑 Added 2023-11-03 12:40:14 +0000 UTCHowdy y'all, Dave.EXE's Halloween update has been a smashing hit among fans and I'm so glad y'all are enjoying it so much! Unfortunately when it released, there were quite a few issues with it, but nothing too big. So here's a long awaited patch to get all those nasty bugs fixed along with some changes and additions that were requested. Enjoy!
Added: Holes to Splintered Islands' Craft Box map, to make traversal downwards faster and to escape chases more easily
Added: Load screens after you die
Added: The Berripedia will now display if Edgy Dave can spawn with a certain enemy present in the timelines
Added: Some googly eyes decoration to Splintered Islands' Craft Box map
Added: Missing health pickup to Splintered Islands' Craft Box map
Changed: Rearranged the Water Fountain placements in Splintered Islands' Craft Box map
Changed: Slightly brightened the Wails In The Night event
Changed: Changed the fog type in the Plompkin Patch random event to use volumetric fog instead
Changed: Updated Krussy's encyclopedia with his new ability. Before, it had his old sky search ability written down
Changed: Included two of the new random events that were missing from the encyclopedia
Changed: The Plompkin Patch event to now allow regular enemies to spawn alongside the Gourd Creeper
Changed: Replaced the wind audio in Splintered Islands' Craft Box map with the indoors AC Unit audio
Nerfed: Slumbus' initial chase speed to be 750 rather than 800, so he's not so fast before hitting you
Nerfed: Krussy will no longer allow Edgy Dave to spawn naturally
Nerfed: Krussy's respawn timer when burrowing from 25 seconds to 40 seconds
Fixed: A bug where Krussy wouldn't spawn his Cursed Crew if you selected him through a Monster Hunter quest
Fixed: A bug where Slumbus' Box of Infinite Silence would spawn floating in mid-air in Splintered Islands' Fish Guts Village map
Fixed: A bug where the text would still display after looting a pumpkin
Fixed: A bug where masks and grippers were floating midair on a few climbable fences
Fixed: A bug where Krussy wasn't applying the Stalked debuff for the Splintered Island maps and Winky Wonky City's Edgy Dave's Penthouse map
Fixed: A bug where the Gourd Creeper is able to hit you if he runs into you while running away
Fixed: A bug where the random event quests for the new random events weren't toggling off their bools
Fixed: A bug where the Night of the Plompkin event wasn't completing after reaching 100 candy
Fixed: A bug where two Gourd Creepers would spawn in the Plompkin Patch event
Fixed: A bug where the Gourd Creeper wasn't being activated via vending machines in the Plompkin Patch event
Fixed: A bug where the Gourd Creeper could not be stunned by a Frenzy Fidget
Fixed: A bug where a crouch spot in Splintered Islands' Fish Guts Village map couldn't be properly destroyed and would have AI get stuck running through it
Fixed: A bug where Sylvester's minions in Splintered Islands' Fish Guts Village map would spawn in the water
Fixed: A bug that occurred for every Splintered Islands map, where Mr. Tea would spawn if you choose Megan Mechie in a Monster Hunter quest and vice versa
Fixed: A bug where redeeming a Frick Fest reward would disable your pause button
Fixed: A bug where the hallucination dark fog wouldn't appear on Splintered Island maps when reaching 100% shock
Fixed: A bug that caused the game to crash if you came into contact with a hallucination Cursed Crew member
Removed: Text that said "Beta" in the patchnotes
