It Is Coming (Alpha Build V0.3)
🕑 Added 2024-01-22 17:50:26 +0000 UTCHello all! It's been a bit silent here on Patreon, since I haven't had much to spoil or discuss due to hunkering down on Vex Clock work. Thought I'd break the silence with one of the It Is Coming alpha builds that survived deletion. Usually when I work on a game, I don't package many builds, or I end up deleting old builds after testing them out and moving onto a newer build. Thankfully I still held onto this old alpha build of the game, back when it used to be called 'Shwubbed'.
There are a few noticeable differences in this build:
1. There are only three maps in the game, with Jester's Playground being in it's early stages of development. This version of the map was called The Training Grounds, which has a lot of missing or temp assets
2. There are only two anomalies to select in the shop, Angel and Moonstone, with Moonstone costing 300 orbs
3. There is no Endless Mode or achievements to unlock
4. The ranking system hadn't been implemented yet
5. The controls feel more floaty and have less air control, so get ready to slip and slide
6. A lot of sound effects are using temp audio
7. You die once and you'll have to start the whole level all over again
8. No volume sliders, so the anomalies are loud as hell
And that about covers it. If you'd like to give this old alpha build a shot, give it a try and enjoy yourself!
