Decorating Tools Mod - Testing V.2.0
🕑 Added 2023-07-23 12:18:43 +0000 UTCThis version includes a "Decorating Mode" and forward tilting. I'll be adding sideways tilting and rotation in the next version.
HOW TO USE:
- Enter (or exit) "Decorator Mode" by pressing Shift D. You should get a message confirming this.
- Select one or more objects by shift + clicking them and choosing "Select". The object will turn green, indicating it is properly selected.
- You can then use the hotkeys above to move and tilt the objects. Hotkeys with the red asterisk (*) can only be accessed in Decorator Mode.
- You can deselect objects at any time by shift + clicking them and choosing "Deselect". Objects will automatically be deselecting when exiting Build/Buy mode.
NOTE: I've removed all Build/Buy interactions except for "Move Left 5cm", "Move Right 5cm" and "Select/Deselect", since they all have hotkeys and I don't want to clutter up the menu. I can add these back in if anyone would like though!
KNOWN ISSUES: TS3 seems to have an aversion to rotating objects unfortunately! Objects will rotate properly up to 45 degrees, and will maintain their rotation as you move them/turn them around. However once PAST 45 degrees, the angle will immediately snap back to 45 when moving the object. To combat this, you can use the Decorator Mode to tilt the object and then move it with hotkeys to your desired position. You currently CANNOT ROTATE PAST 90 degrees! I'd love to be able to change this, but haven't been able to so far :(

- Decorating Mode UI Window - with list of hotkeys and more options for movement/rotation/scale
- Clone Multiple Objects
- Rotate Multiple Objects from Median Point
- Scaling (it's in progress!)
- Adding an option to disable all slots temporarily
Please let me know if you are confused about anything or have any issues! And remeber, you can change any of these hotkeys by editing the TRIG file within the package :)

that's definitely possible! to use those keys instead, you'll have to open the TRIG file in the mod package and change it as follows - "numpad7 = MoveUp10CM numpad1 = MoveDown10CM numpad9 = MoveUp1CM numpad3 = MoveDown1CM" - exactly like that, no extra spaces or capitals! if you still can't get it working, i'll make an edited download for you :)
in the Italian keyword we don't have [ o ] , to use those characters we have to press (altgr and è) (altgr and + ) pity that to raise and lower objects does not work, I've tried remapping the fonts, but that doesn't work either. it would be convenient to use (numpad 7) (numpad 1) (numpad 9) (numpad 3) or have other more options thank you for the mod I hope this problem can be fixed
