We use apt for apartment and appt for appointment as well. Just throwing that out there. Apartment is spelled with only one "p", so not sure why appt would be an abbreviation for it.

The most unrealistic part is low cost/free, next day healthcare in a story based in the US 😂😂 jkjk lol. Definitely makes sense and helps move the plot forward ❤️❤️ (honestly I’ve known some colleges that will have arrangements with the local hospital for a couple priority slots for transferring college patients over in certain departments. I’ve also seen that in hospital settings for certain doctors offices who have fairly routine business with them)

I work at a medical clinic, and we have a counselor on staff. Of you're a medical patient of ours and you talk to your doctor about seeing her, she usually has openings as early as the next business day. I work at a privately owned clinic in a slightly rural area too. We're a bit of a unicorn in the US.
