Which one do you prefer? Text box vs Text Bubble (Mock)

It will show when you have changed your relationship with her i.e. not when she is happy/sad/angry etc. But how she is with you and you with her.
I.e. Respect/Love/Admire/Hate - how do you think I should show this?
My thought was to have a Gauge bar temporarily show and fill up. Still toying with the idea.

Yeah, I think the bubbles make the art more visible and like you see flows more. I was thinking about having a mixed mode, so that when things are short and snappy they could be bubbles, but when they are long or crucial to scene progression have text box. What i'll do is keep the option to toggle just now: but later think more on a mixed mode...not urgent lol!

I honestly prefer text bubbles because to me that makes the immersion flow more natural due to me enjoying reading lots of manga but I'm sure that there's also people out there that prefer text boxes.

Agree 100% I've added it as the ability to choose but do you think it's worth switching between them at certain scenes?

Both have advantages and disadvantages. Textboxes makes it easier to read while speech bubbles makes it easier to appreciate the art

Cool that's good feedback fortunately the bubbles only show one at a time they do change shape but they paginate as you press enter. It's already toggleable but I'm just interested in what people think

Text box. Bubbles can change size and shape and it can be distracting when reading multiple sentences.
