Maybe a trash panda (raccoon) race, scavengers of the galaxy, maybe one particular girl can be named (maybe Rachel) can be a go to person on the mechanics side for finding parts, rare antiquities, and such. What about the red pandas and the trash pandas working together? You could have the red pandas as a syndicate, they can handle the money (business diplomacy) and keep the districts inline as far as their nitch in the universe for scavenging, and the trash pandas can be the hands on collectors.

I LOVE THIS! That's actually a core element ot the game, they call it 'cryptosis' it's like a hyper advanced form of cryogenics + digitisation and other advance tech mechanisms. It would make sense to have an expert on the technology - and being a snow leopard would totally make it cool! OK, i'm gonna prototype that one for sure!

How about a Snow Leopard who is either a Cryobiologist or a Cryogenic Scientist? (Whichever interests you more.) Basically her job would be to study cold temperatures and see what their relationship in nature would be. Like how Liquid nitrogen is sprayed on food to help it absorb heat, preserving it for longer without chemical risk; or how Cryogenic containers are used to transport liquefied gases over long distances, or even how Cryogenic fields are produced for rockets. Or if you prefer Cryobiology, it is basically the same thing but exclusively for living things, like: the Preservation of cells and tissues for purposes of long-term storage; Cryosurgery, a minimally invasive approach for destruction of unhealthy tissue; or Lyophilization (freeze-drying) of pharmaceuticals.
