TECH BACKGROUND
When you are first abducted, you've never met an alien before. You're introduced to the Sekarri, a feline-like race that’s roughly 300 years more advanced than humanity.
Later, you meet others of similar tech level—collectively classified as Tier 1. Humanity is Tier 0, but gains a boost to Tier 1 during the game’s demo.
Tier 2 races are nearly extinct—destroyed by the Drone Fleet
Tier 3 races have either died out, fled the galaxy, or gone into hiding
That leaves the Vionites—top of Tier 1.
Unlike the Sekarri and Kethri (who lost their homeworlds), the Vionites still control a massive interstellar empire.
CULTURE AND GENETICS
The Vionites number in the hundreds of billions.
Their culture and appearances vary wildly:
Some resemble mice, others more rat-like, and the fringes include squirrel-like beings
All are genetically compatible
Cultural values shift by region—Fringe worlders are pacifistic and spiritual, Core worlders are militaristic and strict
They can’t be easily generalized, but broadly:
Squirrel types = hippies
Mouse types = war-hardened commanders
TOTAL WAR MINDSET
Unlike the humans, Sekarri, or Mirelexians, the Vionites understand the stakes of the galaxy.
They have adopted a Total War doctrine, initiating a vast military buildup.
They don’t believe in hiding
Are one of the only races willing to go toe-to-toe with the Drone Fleet
Have independent technology, not reliant on the dispersion network
Their strength lies in numbers, logistics, and brutal efficiency
CIRIN – SHOCK TROOPER PROFILE
Cirin is a frontline Vionite shock trooper.
Friendly and curious about "cultural exploration"
Highly disciplined and effective
Operates in “drift mode”—rarely touching the ground, gliding via suspensor fields
Her armor is reminiscent of the Sekarri’s minimalistic "bikini armor," but is far more advanced:
You see what her tactical systems allow you to see
Consists of three main armor nodes:
Two gauntlets
One rear-back core
These generate protective fields and dynamic armor forms on demand
