PREMISE
You, the player (Straker), are an ordinary human.
You were gaming last night, and the boss found out; because you were sleepy on the job, he decided to let you go 'whilst he thinks about your future'.
On your way home, a bright light appears in an alleyway, when you wake up, see an an alien felinoid lady.
She tells you, that her name is Fel a 7 ft (2m) Sekarri, and you were abducted secretly as part of an outreach program to train humans up and introduce them to the harsh realities of the galaxy.
Over time, you grow closer to Fel, your assigned buddy, her close friends Tabby a nervous fleet coordinator with and Kira a dedicated, hyper intelligent Fleet Scientists.
Fel explains to you the harsh realities of the galaxy, how most races are scattered, very few advance beyond Tier 1 (stuck to their own star system). Because of a race known as the Dark Wolders, or the Drone Fleet.
Every time they come back to the milky way, the average temperature drops, life fades and entropy is consumed.
The Darkworlders have extinguished trillions, never been defeated and existed for a billion years. Though Fel admits, this and that her people have fled the destruction of their homeworld Alara - she is still insistent Straker undergo Drone Training.
Initially most of the Sekarri see humans as primitive. Some viewed the abductions as pointless, and a pet project to please Fel and help the Sekarri cope with their losses.
However, quickly, the Sekarri become deeply drawn to humans, and vice versa. Straker gradually gains influence on the Freexyl (the mega-ship he resides on). His persistence, and natural abilities win over many, not to mention he is a single human male - which for the Sekarri females who outnumber the men at 7:1, he appears to be a treat of temptation they can not resist.
Gameplay and Genre:
Drone Commander is a very ambitious, unique Indie Game that blends Visual Novel Story telling with grand scale RTS space warfare and boots on the ground RPG combat and exploration. With a central focus on original story telling and deep Sci-Fi lore.
The reason for this is to deliver a new form of gaming, where you feel a real part of it all. Having deep, sensual relationships with exotic alien women, going to war on a galactic scale for what you believe in, exploring abandoned civilizations and new worlds with your party, building true friendships and battling both on the ground RPG and in space RTS in a SciFI SAGA I hope will become unforgettable.
Imagine this...
Game-Loop
You wake up on the ship, in your assigned quarters. There's an emergency, no time to check your normal feeds and level up on mini-games, you have to battle your way RPG mode room to room, the outside of the ship hull in space until you eventually arrive at the bridge.
It switches to Visual Novel mode, you're addressed by the captain and help form strategies via conversations before joining the rest of the defenders in the drone pilot pods; as your brain connects, it switches to RTS, you now are remote piloting battleships, desperately coordinating with your allies to push back the invaders.
After all is done, you might be required to get your suit on, and mop up the remanding borders..
Exhausted, you're given the green light by your CO to leave.
You go to the bar for a drink, one of your love interests shows up, she comforts you about your Win (or defeat).
You go with her to look at the stars, or grab a burger, then to her room (or yours) to finish the night with passion, and then maybe some deep conversations progressing your relationships.
End of night - a new loop will begin again in the morning.
CHARACTER COMPENDIUM

STRAKER
An average run of the mill human male, shorter in stature at 5f6, working a 9-5 job in an office. He gets let go from work after nearly sleeping on the job, the boss points out they know his socials and that he was gaming the night before.
Straker, is a quiet MC in that most of his dialogue is selected by the user but not voiced, he isn’t a mute, just its left to the imagination of the player. Straker will talk, but you’ll only see text, unlike others who are voiced by actors.
Straker though content with his friends, has a small circle, is not popular and not successful in life. Frustrated by the lack of purpose, and inability to find a girlfriend Straker spends much of his time with Brian.
On the way home he is abducted, and comes face to face with Fel. who explains to him about the 400 abducted humans. Over time, as Straker learns about the ship, that humanity is not alone and the threat to the galaxy - he becomes vested in the stake. He begins to funnel all his energies into drone training and finding a way to contribute.
Felynna Quorialis
Fel is military combat instructor on the Freexyl ship, she is tal 7 foot, blonde haired feline in appearance. Large breasts, but toned muscular abs. She has a sideholstered blaster pistol and form fitting but functional military clothing, a green tanktop, khaki bottoms detached arm sleeves which things can clip onto.
Alongside Straker, Fel is one of the main characters in the game. When the Sekarri fleet first spotted Earth, she formulated all the plans for the Drone program, the Abductions and her vision to allow humans a place in fighting the drone fleet. She convinced many into her vision, though the fleet was not headed for Earth, rather passing it.
On a deeper level ,Fel has a connection to straker she doesn’t understand - dreams which link them and an affinity. Fel is monogamous, extremely rare for 7:1 Sekarri females, she insists Straker only have her or not at all. though there is a way to get her into a poly pride, but its very hard and requires finess.
Fel has her own desires, mostly to stop the drone fleet and unite races. She appears emotionally balanced, but has had issues with uncontrollable rage in the past due to trauma and other reasons. Straker has given her a lease of life, and the 9 months she was able to control herself better.
AMU
Straker helps Amu in the beginning with something huge she will never forget. But Amu was always going to be drawn towards Straker, in this part of space and time anyway.
Amu isn't a typical off the shelf guardian AI from generic Scifi. She has her own hopes, desires and on a mission to recover memories that she isn't even sure is her own.
As Straker, you can chose to go all the way with her; and she will take you to her special place.
Kira Virethorne
one of the main characters in the game, Kira over 7 ft 4 tall, blue soft, short fur and red hair, very attractive in appearance is a Science Fleet officer. She is senior and best friends with Tabby though they don’t have as much time to socialise these days.
She went to the acadamy with Fel and Tabby.

It looks great so far- really excited to play as it checks all my boxes. Alien abduction + dating furry women. (YES YES YES!) Also I like the space RTS and RPG elements too, it seems a very well rounded game from what I've seen so far.
