I think Manon may have done a few short vocal covers on her TikTok so they didn’t completely just pick her on visuals (although that is the main reason she was chosen)

I would highly recommend once y’all get to the point of the actual competition shows that when you finish the particular episode, you watch the performances that correspond, on YouTube directly after! I have noticed some people react to the show and finish then go watch the performances and are a little confused or sometimes forget the timeline of events or even contestants. I think it might be more seamless that way for y’all to watch it. Also there are tons of other content in correlation to the dream academy show like the intros of the girls, introductory dance content, the full eliminations, bts of the girls preparing for each challenge and judges/mentors’ comments of each challenge so that could be something y’all could look at as well if you wanted to!

I'm ngl, i really think one of them girls wished on Emily's downfall when she got into A. I just FEEEEL it. The fact that she didn't even know at what point she could have fractured it says a lot for me personally.

Believe it or not, a lot of companies pick up artist on social media just purely based on visuals without even knowing if they could sing or dance. SM did the same with Karina and Winter for aespa and both of their Instagrams only had selfies. Vivi from Loona also got casted based on visuals and BBC personally flew her to Korea from Hong Kong to be in the group.
