Video sneak peek: How to make your notes visual in Obsidian
🕑 Added 2022-08-16 15:00:01 +0000 UTCIn preparation for my interview with the developer of Excalidraw and ExcaliBrain this weekend, here's a video on different ways to incorporate visual elements in your notes, including using the following plugins:
- Excalidraw
- Callouts*
- Leaflet
- Kanban
- Tracker
- Advanced Slides
- Graph view*
- Mind Map
- ExcaliBrain
- Popout window*
*These are not technically plugins, but they're core features that could be easily missed, so I wanted to highlight them.
I also thought it might be interesting to show you how I plan these videos, so here's a PDF export of my page for this video, which I have as a task on my Content Board (created with the Kanban plugin).
Were there any plugins you think I should have included?

Hey, short of changing your CSS, you may be able to use Admonitions to create a new Admonition type with an empty icon.

Is there a way how to use callouts WITHOUT ANY ICONS in Obsidian? Any idea how do I get rid of it?

Yay! It's on the list for sure! I kind of did it begrudgingly because I didn't think I'd use it, but I must admit it's pretty cool.
oh! I'm so excited for the tracker!
