Might be a weird question, but how come that China, an authoritarian, “communist” country is driving down the price of solar panels and leading in climate investment is a win for the free markets? Genuinely curious😅

I’m studying abroad in Beijing rn. It’s kind of an odd program where it’s all american professors teaching chinese students in english. But if you want to speak to an American professor that’s been teaching here a while, they might have some interesting stuff to say about China’s youth.
