So, Throne wish lists have been a big thing lately among YouTubers and streamers. I decided to try one: https://throne.me/u/jbgreen
I know that some people feel uncomfortable with content creators asking for money or gifts. But I also know that some people really enjoy the opportunity to give. I have my own specific set of rules when it comes to giving—whether it’s giving time, energy, money, gifts, or anything else.
If:
1. Someone asks ...
AND
2. I have it to give ...
AND
3. I feel called/inspired to give ...
… then I give. It’s a simple set of rules that has worked well for me. So, as someone who enjoys giving when I can and when I’m inspired to, I feel that wishlists are consistent with my own personal values.
PLEASE know that I’m not suffering without any of the items on the list. They’re just things that would be lovely and helpful to have. I know that most viewers can’t or won’t want to use the wishlist for a whole variety of reasons, and I’m very, totally, completely okay with that. We all have countless opportunities each day to help others, and I know that y'all are out there doing that in your own ways. Just sharing this as an option for you.
I love y’all, and plan to have that new ear cleaning video up within the next couple of weeks! OH AND I JUST REMEMBERED that I owe you the ad-free link for the most recent RP. I'll get that out tonight!

(Also, I have to laugh. The other day when I said something about "ooo, fun new ways to buy a lady a cup of coffee", I had no idea that StarBucks was on the list. :) )

Some of these items are so ... FUN. (I think that's the word. :) ) Think I might have to spring for one of the sci-fi themed props just in honor of "May the 4th Be With You!" [How about it, Star Wars fans?]
