🕑 Added 2025-11-24 17:11:04 +0000 UTC'SUP Awesome Patrons! A few years ago Marc and I watched Planes, Trains & Automobiles, and it was such a great Thanksgiving film. We decided to see if we could make lightning strike again this year with another great John Candy flick, and so we turned to Uncle Buck. Even though it's not technically a Thanksgiving movie, it is about family coming together, so we're gonna let it slide ;)

Yeah I definitely thought about you guys with this one! I suspected it would be a fave anyway. And that's hilarious that you said that about Tia bc I nearly sh*t a brick when I discovered that yesterday on iMDb. I mean it's been a while since I watched Yes Dear, but still, I did not even make the connection.

Yay, great choice! I grew up watching this. It took me the longest time to realize that the actress who plays Tia is the same actress from Yes Dear because the RBF she's got going here makes her look so different. Happy Thanksgiving guys!
