Those folks who are in my Discord server already know about my situation, but I’ll briefly explain everything here as well:
In July, after a viral post featuring Panty and Alexander Andersen, my main Twitter account got flagged with a “sensitive content” label - which basically means shadowban and a severe reach limit. At first, I didn’t realize it, so I kept posting art throughout the month, unknowingly “burying” the account even deeper, since all activity was being treated as a violation. As a result, all my new artworks were marked as "sensitive content", even though many of them were perfectly SFW.
By the time we understood and confirmed what had happened, it was already too late. In August, I fell into complete apathy - the account I had been building for years was essentially dead, for an indefinite period of time, and I had to delete a lot of “triggering” artworks. At first, I hoped the restriction would eventually go away, but by September it became clear that waiting was pointless, so I created a new account - here it is, by the way: https://x.com/sneg9623
Because I was moving to a new apartment in September, I didn’t have much time for art, but thankfully the move is finally over - and now I’m back with you all!
I won’t lie - this whole “shadowban-gate” thing really took a toll on my already fragile nerves. I’m ashamed that I didn’t post for so long, but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t drawing!!
