I don't know if it's interesting for you, but meh
I am Andrés Barra, a Chilean guy who's screwed his careers and youth wasting time making bad choices.
I studied medicine for like 3 years and a half, I was a fine student. I like to study and in the academic part I could perform well... but I hated the career, the practice. I just studied it because I was very good in biology and my parents wanted me to study it.
I always liked to draw, but I didn't wanted it to like it THIS much. I avoided to draw in highschool because I feared I liked it too much, I wanted to be a cartoonist or something like that... but that's not a real profession.
thing is that when I was studying medicine I felt so stressed about not liking it and hate it more and more each year... those were the years I started to draw more, I really wanted to improve... I started dreaming I could be an artist someday.
I quit the damn thing and was decided to just do whatever, I ended up studying graphic design, a cheap thing I thought it might be somewhat similar to what I wanted... I ended up being one of the best students in that generation.
I got specialized in making animated content for internet, advertising in video, html and jpg, bla bla, I've never been in the "creative" side of advertising, I'm a person who cares about production: give me guidelines, the graphics and I'll make 1000 ads an videos about it. It's a stressful and time consuming job with ridiculous deadlines.
Now I'm in charge of a small team and keep doing the same, I expected I could finish the Derideal remake in 2 years, but it's been like 4 and I can't find time and energy to continue.
I would like to improve in everything I care about, comics, art, etc... there's not enough time
anyway, wish me luck... I'm in crisis haha
PS. thank you for supporting my work, really... idk, it really helps having people that believes in your projects
