Happy holidays and year thoughts
🕑 Added 2022-12-27 00:25:59 +0000 UTCHello, I've been wanting to write something for the people here, to first say THANK YOU for supporting me, it truly means A LOT! and welcome to the new people that's joined patreon lately!
My journey as an artist I guess hasn't been "direct" I spent lots of my time scared of not making enough income to survive life with this... I'm not good promoting my stuff, or good making connections, meeting people.
I've tried to be less "this way" but it's been almost impossible so far, just baby steps... so I'm actually surprised I've gotten somewhere with this.
as you might remember... I lost my "desk job" this year, my former company wasn't a place where I felt welcome anymore, and my future there didn't seemed good even, after a long agony of feeling neglected and a bit betrayed by how things played off with my old job, I was fired a few months back...
you might thing my life suddenly got back on track or something after this, but I think I was under so much stress that I started to get physically sick... and I've been trying to feel good with myself again these past time, trying to take things slow... and well, hoping to finally understand what are going to be my next steps.
I want to continue with webcomic projects and continue making drawings for Patreon, this part it's been really fun.
Derideal storyline is now 90% complete... just missing a few revisions, a few redraws, but nothing that feels "overwhelming" anymore, I made enough changes of form and style of the "part 3" to progress faster than I anticipated, and I finished the most difficult parts before next year! which is nice!
I'm also working in LOST MEMORIES, struggling to make new episodes, or continue drawing this thing, I decided to go with color again (not a smart move), but I just felt I needed this to be the case.
we'll get a new update of that comic soon here in Patreon, it will be my last Christmas present for you all here.
Mix is a very important character for me, and I'm happy to finally seeing her alive beyond empty meaning pinups.
This year end isn't being as bad as I thought it would be, and despite the prices of everything has skyrocketed thanks to the weird political climate and pandemic around the world... I want to stay positive I'll manage to survive.
Next year I'll be more likely focusing into making Lost memories, doing some final revisions to Derideal...
and I'll continue writing XEN story! yey, finally!
I'm doing it slowly, with process, with care... so it might take a while before I reach the stage of drawings. I want to make a proper story outline, a set of scenes and episodes I'm happy and hopefully make a worth continuation for the series.
I know you miss Nova! so I'll try as hard as I can to bring this story fact to focus!
Commissions has been in and out ,because I haven't really opened many slots... I'm having some trouble managing my "Projects" drawing time, and commissions drawing time... I'm sort of obsessive, so when I get commissions I usually don't rest until I get them all done, and it can take all month... so, I need to organize to not feel overwhelmed.

I got sick of some strange stuff this year, now I'm suffering from stomach... It's like my natural defenses are in an all time low. So more medical appointments in the near future xd

I'm really glad to hear that you're working it out and next year's lineup sounds amazing! My whole life basically stopped for many months because stress-induced illness became physically debilitating so please take care of yourself before it ever gets that bad. It's been so much fun supporting your art and I'm super excited to see where you'll go from here!
