Update 0.7.0.0 is coming
🕑 Added 2024-10-06 14:28:14 +0000 UTCHi, today I want to talk about what I will be doing until the end of November this year. I am preparing for the transition to a new development branch, as it marks a lot of innovations under the hood for creating new content, as well as an update to the development head.
I hope most of the community who are simply following the project have not lost faith, since the last public build was updated almost half a year ago. By the release of the new update - the 0.6 build with all the updates and fixes included in it will become publicly available and will become the main one for free use.
So, to the point!
I strive to make the game world quite advanced in terms of mechanics and more replayable, adding new content, characters and items. I want to introduce some RPG elements, since there are many races in the game and they all differ only in the outer wrapper. I decided to fix this by adding passive and active skills to each of the races, which will determine the style of gameplay, and also add even more replayability.
The world of "My Pretty Toy" is a fantasy world where anything can exist... I didn't think too long about which character would be suitable as a protagonist who could reflect some part of the bondage culture in the game. The new update will add arachnid girls who will accordingly differ in appearance, and also use webs to immobilize their enemies without resorting to existing items.
Personal preferences are always important, so I will work on customizing the races as much as possible at this stage of development. More specifically, the ability to select skin tone (from supported ones), eye color and pupil type, ear type, appearance of additional accessories (horns, claws, tails, etc.), and, accordingly, the size of the charms will be added...
Over the past year, many in-game mechanics and scenarios have been added that may not be to everyone's taste - I will expand the menu of gameplay preferences that will determine their presence in the gameplay, as well as some sliders that affect the balance.
I also want to work on a new system of stationary bondage. This system is already in the game and chairs to which you can tie up disobedient slavers, cages, stocks, etc. work on its basis. Adding and using some items have many nuances regarding how the tied character will look and I want to solve this problem by adding stationary bondage, which will work on the basis of the existing system. It will allow me to apply the pose I need to the pawn and play the animations that were conceived for this type of restraint, which to some extent will save me from the headache of how to do this. For example, with its help I want to add mummification to the game, which would be a problem if I did it with the usual tools that are already in the game.
And finally, what I will be working on closely is saving progress. Some bugs that arise at this stage of development are sometimes very annoying, especially if they lead to a complete loss of control over the character or to a hopeless situation. Perhaps saving / loading will fix this situation a little...
The release of update 0.7 will take place at the end of November this year (25-30). Also, in anticipation of the release of this update, the public version of the game will be updated.
So that you don't get bored, I will share the progress regarding the update. Don't forget to visit the discord channel, there may be a lot of interesting things there, since I cannot publish screenshots and images of a certain nature due to the new patreon policy.
That's all from me, see you in the spy hideout !

I think it would be better if the ai could fix the player to the device, or change the player's binding at regular intervals.

Holy crap, I subscribed *before* I heard about "arachnid girls," now I feel like a doof for not subscribing sooner! Looking forward to THAT greatly!

Orcs maybe, goblins definitely not...

With the fantasy world setting, does that mean we get orcs and goblins at some point?
