Sigma xeno design notes
🕑 Added 2024-07-25 18:25:13 +0000 UTChey! I decided to write down some of the "sigma" xeno stuff I've been following lately for these critters designs and ideas I got.
first off, the sigma xenos begin just for an excuse to make NSFW comics and pictures, so I'm not super sure how much canon they are for the main time line, but who knows.
they're supposedly to be an improvement over the regular Prime beta 1 xenos and Gamma xenos.
I just hope to keep developing them in stories, they're equipped with enhanced emphaty and the special skill to sense chemical signals of other living beings, they got sort of an internal organic lab that tells them as some sort of impulse what the other creature might need (they can read body and biological chemical signals), this was developed in an attempt to make the sigma xenos to know what their master want and tell their moods, but this special capability goes beyond what humans thought.
SIGMA XENO CLONE DESIGN NOTES
Key aspects so far for the sigma xeno designs are:
ear tufts (I'm sure I wrote it wrong in the pictures, but meh) / this won't apply in xenos with smaller ears like ferrets sometimes)
rounded heads and cheeks
rounded eyes in general
rounded shoulders
they can probably become further customized.
theywear a collar,
which can be customized (I guess humans might decide to remove and cutomize this collar, but sigma xenos might be proud of wearing it) this was a later addition in sigma xeno 3, to make these critters to look more different, and a clear symbol of them being basically slaves.
I'm not sure yet if I'm going to make something more out of this detail yet.
this picture is a comparison between the current sigma xenos, which have been modeled after other characters or xeno types in the main stories.
their eyes are bright and could even glow in the dark.
their eyes are fantasy colors and their color options can vary a lot from regular xenos (which eyes are regularly just brown/yellow/blue)
Sigma xenos are generally smaller than the biggest xeno types used for combat and to be aggresive.
I also think their height can be customized, but they will never look stronger than their original counterparts, but they might have more body mass.
their personalities aren't as independent as with previously designed xenos, they might be the most domestic types ever created, their conditioning should be even stronger.
just some extra stuff.
Sigma xeno bioreactor models, they're more simple and rounded, these bioreactors work similarly to the original ones, but specifically made to develop sigma's and their genetic design requirements, also allows them to "grow" quickly when necessary to produce a new one.
the other is just an attempt at a transport cage, with I guess can be a delivery cage too. might also work as a small room for them. it also comes with a screen to tell sigma species and their general stats.

Well, rest safe knowing that so far these critters weren't created by CWally and are the results of years after the development of many previous xeno types. (Thus only fit if anything in the project prime timeline) Luckily they're part of just the NSFW series that might as well be a parallel world considering everything

Although their desigs are cute, their purpose and "place" in derideal story makes me disgusted. Like a sick joke by Wally made in despise of Aden and Laura. Not gonna ramble to much, but i feel connected to derideal's on a very personal level, and if i was part of, this would be my call to join the resistence

Thanks for sharing. Interesting, I like a lot of their designs. Cute ear tuffs for the win. The collars are kind of nice, they work out although they look so wide.
