Good news & Bad news

I just want you to know how important it's been for me to keep up making art and making this my job... it's been so difficult to accomplish getting something back from my comics and artwork, it taken me longer than 10 years.
I have a long road ahead still to make this really profitable, so I can really invest lots of my time into making comics and stories... but I'm not losing hope and I given me lots of positive energy to know people here really want this to happen.
Good news:
Nova's script work is almost done, it's just a matter of being happy with adding revisions and modifications to every episode scripts now. so if I can call it done and move to the drawing storyboards and begin the comic work.
this is why your help is most important with, as making comics takes me months and years, and I really need the support to keep up with new content like this.
Bad news:
I've been sent a few times already a website that's leaking patreon content from my account and others, the people in charge of those sites doesn't care about the damage their making.
but the sad part, is that the only way they can get access, is for a person giving their access user and password so their bots can download everything from here.
So there's at least one person subbed here that possibly just want to hurt me and not help me out continue with this journey.
all I'm gonna ask is to just stop, you don't know how difficult it is for me to work on this, and work on making exclusive content for you every single week.
PS. contacted patreon and they adviced me to now communicate with them, as these pirate sites are know to harass creators. and that they're trying to find ways to fight back. not much hopes then

I asked in Patreon they just told me to not do anything that they need to figure out what to do..but no solution

yeah, I think I'll have to do that from now on. but I think most of the stuff they have now is the low-res stuff, but it's still bothers me

I'm sure I've suggested this before, but have you considered changing the way you give out the full res files? (For example do what I know from several other artists: Upload the files to Google Drive / Mega / whatever you prefer, then share the link to that with current supporters through the Patreon Direct Messages) That way the scrapers would only get access to the public / low res posts.

I have a ko-fi but I can't say I use it that much, I'm not sure if I have the energy to maintain so many sites at the same time :c that's why I've stuck with patreon, this is the only place I get any support

Sorry to hear that, it sucks, especially when sites that do that often don't have similar copyright/patent laws, I just hope the leak gets plugged soon, and you get fair credit/compensation for your work. Hopes for the near and far future! (^._.^)ﾉ On a similar note, do you have any plans for places aside from patreon, such as SubscribeStar or Kofi, etc.? I'm not familiar with Kofi, but I know SS does have a better bot deterrent for similar reasons.

es que la persona le tiene que dar sus token de acceso, es algo voluntario que yo no puedo controlar, ni Patreon. es alguien de aquí que le esta dando el acceso a su cuenta voluntariamente

Did you ask directly to them?!?! Thats not the right way I think, if i recall correctly, need the help of patreon itself. Maybe start from there?

I've tried, they said that they don't care. or ask ridiculous information it's not possible to get. like for me to provide the links of every single work they've stolen and my signature, personal data etc. everything to just doxx me... I'm not the only one affected, but it sucks, I'm such a small artist and always struggling. this people are just evil
