We're flawed human beings and that's ok.

I know that it's pretty tough having to deal with everything life's been throwing at us and I know that most of us have that tendency to beat ourselves up over our flaws and mistakes but honestly, we're all flawed, we're all struggling and we're all just human and that is absolutely fine.
We're living in a world that's placed a lot of heavy expectations on our shoulders and not all of us where born with all the right knowledge and circumstances to help us meet those "standards" and it's really easy to end up in that loop of beating yourself up over not being that perfect unrealistic person you're expected to be but in reality, you're doing a lot better than you give yourself credit for. Life is honestly very difficult and here you are trying, be proud of yourself for that.
In case nobody's ever told you, you don't have to be perfect. You don't have to be better than everyone else nor live a perfect life. You're already doing wonderful by simply just being here and trying to be a good person and in a world where horrible things happen everyday, thank goodness you're here still trying. Most importantly, please don't beat yourself up over your flaws and mistakes. It's okay dear. You'd be surprised, everyone else has their own flaws and mistakes in life too so why beat yourself up over something that everybody else faces?
Be kind to yourself because you deserve it. π€

awww! this was adorable! most definitely needed to read that today after tearing up about something that has bothered me my whole life, literally, and I'm still struggling with! it just sometimes feels like it's not gonna ever get better, or like I'm never going to find the answer! but then, I remember that I've learned something about myself, which is, I never give up! but sometimes, it's just hard! but hearing ur voice, wen I feel down, it always makes me feel better and at ease, like I'm myself again!
