Young Impa: Jikatabi (Mockup) (WIP 1)

I was going to a buy real Jikatabi to be able to use the sole but it would be a waste to buy it and then take it apart!
So I decided to make the whole structure with a 2mm EVA base that I will cover with fabric, and then the sole I will buy a normal one and cut the gap of the fingers to stick directly on the fabric's sole!
I will also make a scheme in which the leg piece will be in two separate parts, the jikatabi as a "shoe piece" and the legging pants as a second piece!
I will wear both and the crack part will be covered with the red strip of the shin guards, what do you think?๐ค

That's so clever ๐ฑ I recently started a Young Impact cosplay as well and was stuck on that part ๐ I really don't understand how they intended it to be... But I came to the same conclusion as you, which is to make it into 2 separate parts and hide it with the red strip ๐
