Aemon nodded gratefully as he continued to walk through the amazing street of the beautiful city, it was evident that the Veela took great pride in beauty, both of their physique and of their home

“Any news to report?” asked the young dragon, as he began his ascent to the central temple, where his women were waiting for him, all performing important tasks for the alliance

Lucrecia nodded
"But you didn't order Britain's trading partners like the Greengrass or my father to be excluded, as she planned to do," Malfoy the witch said with certainty
And at those words, Aemon's powerful gaze focused on the no longer so smiling Rossana

Securing Topaz Island as the coalition's center of operations was a top priority, the Targaryen wards were powerful and deadly, but if he managed to nest the Stark rune defenses...
Aemon was getting ahead of himself, first he had to achieve the connection and thanks to the inclusion of House Targaryen in the pact, the union process would be much simpler than expected, although no less complicated

And the moment Aemon's body touched the dragonglass, the dormant runes were activated, for the first time in two hundred years
Aemon's eyes turned completely white, and although his body was limp sitting on the throne...
His mind was traveling, faster and farther than ever before
He could feel it all, every rock, every tree, every magical and mundane beast that called the island home, there was nothing that escaped his vision, the fruits of powerful Targaryen magic were simply incredible
However... the throne was a lot more, it was a detector, a magical one, and it was giving him particular magical readings
Draconic Magic, outside of Topaz Island
Three points to be exact
One of them was easily identifiable to Aemon, an island in the Mediterranean, brimming with powerful magic, where Aemon supposed, the nexus for the third test of the ring was to be found
The second... It was in the middle of the fucking ocean, tiny, barely visible, lost in the immense waters and storms of the Atlantic, a place that, at least for the moment, was out of reach
But the third... the third point surprised and enraged him at the same time; the third point of Draconic magic was found in none other than England
Right in the fucking ministry of magic... the filthy vermin and weasels had a Targaryen artifact
How dare they! He thought furiously
Letting himself be totally carried away by the impulse, Aemon used the power of the throne and sent his magic towards the artifact, his influence over it was quite limited, he needed the third head of the dragon to be able to exercise his will completely, however, Aemon’s mastery over Targaryen magic was enough to be able to see through clairvoyance the place where he was
In an instant, Aemon was no longer on the island, but in a kind of underground room, he was in a display case, countless runes were engraved all over the glass, where dozens of half-dozen wizards and witches, hidden with silver cloaks and covered faces, moved their wands and took notes recurrently

The same ritual that Lorian Stark used in the past to link the Lands of Wolf's Den directly into the branches of Ygdrasil, the young dragon closed his eyes and began to perform the steps one by one
He located the magical core of the island, founded the nearest Ley Line and with extreme care, began to recite in the old tongue, literally weaving branches of pure magic between the already existing branches of Ygdrasil and the heart of the island
The process was slow, tedious and downright exhausting, every inch requiring a monstrous amount of magic and time, to the point that I didn't know how much time had passed outside the heart of the island
However, Aemon's efforts paid off, and by the time the branches connected the heart of the island to the Ley Lines, the link was complete and the tree of life had a new branch
The resulting explosion of magic was simply overwhelming, Aemon had to push his occlumency to the maximum to avoid collapsing from the pressure he felt at the crushing power that the connection had generated, the entire island changed to such a profound level that Aemon was barely able to comprehend it, all the White Oak buds grew instantly, As tall as a three-story building, saturating the air, land, and water with the purest magic, the pastures suddenly became lush, while unknown magical plants began to bloom all over the island, while huge white roots began to emerge from the ground, spreading throughout the island
However, there was one event in particular that stunned the young dragon, right in front of the throne, a beautiful specimen of White Oak emerged, as tall and imposing as the one in Wolf's Den
And Aemon, totally stunned, watched as the roots of the same tree emerged from the ground, forming an arc with nine seeds around it, eight of them remaining opaque, except for one, with a particular name, written with the ancient runes of the First Men
"Midgard," Aemon whispered, opening his eyes at the revelation
"Alfheim," he whispered, channeling his magic, the bright seed went out, while another lit up, and the image of the arch changed completely, showing a beautiful wasteland, white grass and blue skies, with beautiful beings walking in a beautiful city, tall and pristine buildings, a city totally of fantasy
"Vanaheim!" he said with emotion, causing the seed to change color, as did the vision inside the arch
The beautiful town disappeared, to show a place familiar to Aemon, the Godswood of Winterfell, the beautiful tree he adored so much and the stream where he had had so many adventures with his cousins in the past
And, seated on the usual stone, was his uncle, Lord Eddard Stark, cleaning Ice, as usual
"Father," Aemon whispered to himself, overwhelmed by the man who had raised him again
However, something happened that he never imagined was possible
Lord Eddard Stark looked up, looking around in confusion, as if he had somehow been able to hear his son
“Jon?” he asked in amazement, as he stood up and began to look around in despair
“FATHER!!” Aemon shouted desperately, concentrating all his will for his voice to cross the threshold
“JON! MY SON: Where are you?” Lord Stark shouted, looking around with obvious desperation
"I'm going home father, I'm going home" said Aemon, before an excruciating pain invaded him, he felt that his head was going to explode, at the same time that he felt how a hot liquid was dripping from his nose
And without being able to concentrate, the connection to Ygdrasil was broken, causing Aemon to collapse back into reality, inhaling hard, trying to fill his tired lungs quickly and desperately
“YOUR GRACE!! A HEALER NOW!!” shouted Amelie, who, to Aemon's curiosity, was wearing a different dress
"What happened?" he asked, totally stunned
"My love, you were sitting for seven days" Rossana said, really affected, she, like Amelie, wore a different dress
“What? But, it was only an instant," said Aemon, totally bewildered
"My love, you were sitting for seven days, the island changed slowly, we were monitoring you day and night," Lucrecia said, obviously worried
"Oh," said the young dragon, inhaling hard as he tried to stand up, being helped by his women, who looked suspiciously guilty
“What happened? Why long faces?” Aemon asked, frowning at the guilty faces
"News from England Mon Amour, a group of Death eaters wreaked havoc in the final" said his French Flower cautiously
Immediately, concern invaded him and he said
“And the boys? they're fine?” he asks, referring to all the young people in the coalition
"Physically they are fine, but..." Lucrecia began, only to hesitate at the end and simply show Aemon a newspaper
The young Lord took it, at the same time as his eyebrows rose at the headline
An image of Harry and Draco, back-to-back, as they cast an inhuman number of spells on unknown enemies, like a well-oiled machine, the dueling lessons had apparently paid off
And the headline...
“Terror in the Quidditch final, Lord Potter and Heir Malfoy fight back, excess of strength?” said the obviously sensationalist headline
And Aemon can only think of one thing
