Nearly Ready... Oh and a nice little treat too ;)
🕑 Added 2022-04-13 22:15:44 +0000 UTCThe next episode of the CR250 is almost ready, I just need to pick up my freshly rebuilt crank tomorrow and finish a bit of assembly. I would have rebuilt the crank myself but as i don't do it often I'm not set up properly so it made much more sense to send it out and i can concentrate on more important things like removing the rust from all the internal parts and there was A LOT of it!! the pics above give you an idea of what I was dealing with. all the gear sets and all other internal were laid out and stripped down methodically, sonic cleaned blasted etc etc to get them back to good as new. It was a long job but totally worth it when you see all the nice shiny metal in the fresh matte black casings ;)
As for the little treat well I'm working on a nice little Patron only restoration video that I will be releasing in a few days time. I'm sure some of you will be able to guess what I'm working on but the item in question is turning out very nice so far and i think you'll enjoy it.
