Regarding 7$ tier and possible changes to Tiers

As I’m currently giving 4/month this change will definitely mean I’ll switch to 5. The only reason I’m not currently on 7 is that I can’t afford it. So at least for me this means you’ll get more money. Don’t know how many others pay 4 but I think most of them will switch to 5.

That's the thing, it's super hard to say how people will react. I think posting more in general will lead to more Patrons and I intend to try and do that in summer. Thanks for the input :)

If anything find something small to give to the original people who had the 7$ update as a ty I personally go with the you do you I'm unsure if dropping the amount would make you more money thou in the long run would have to do the math saving 2$ a month isnt much but if even if half of your patreons are 7$ then that's roulghy 300$ a month will you gain the 60 more patreons to make up for it.

If you're adding a $10 tier then 2, 5, & 10 would be simpler than 2, 4, 7, & 10. I doubt $2 is gonna change too many minds, but you don't want to look like you're nickel and diming patrons. Honestly I think the best thing you could do to increase patrons is to post individual chapters 2-3 times a week rather than 2-3 chapters once a week.

I think 7$ is quite fine for the content and quality that you give us. The thing is... I’m quite thigh on the money front. So yay for the change I guess? Then again, depending on what you give the 10$ tier, I might just have to tighten my belt and just go for it.

This is exactly how I felt when I found a cool novel and it makes me incredibly happy to be able to inspire such a reaction. I've started to really enjoy writing and with the expectations of a couple thousand people I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. Thank you!

About 10$ patrons, I think it's a good idea for people who want to get more involved in this world.

I think $5 is significantly better. I’ve been switching tiers a bit because I want to support you but think $7 is a bit much. At the same time it’s much more engaging to read the story at the most recent chapter.

I think 5$ is fine. Always keep in mind that the patreons have to pay VAT on that as well ;) The 7$ was ok for me too, but I got a job and no longer a filthy leeching student :P

The poll option would only be about side stories accessible only for a higher tier, at least that's what I think of doing right now. It's still some time off until I can actually start on that. This poll here was directed at only the 7$ patrons. Normal story related polls would be for everyone of course. I agree on the part about e-books, especially considering you usually get more out of it than the hundred or so pages I write per month (for now at least).

Thanks for the comment. I know this might be the case for many and lowering the price might not mean more patrons but as I said, it feels right after talking to some people and thinking about it for a while.

I think given how low the prices for finished e-books are usually that, 5$ is a more reasonable price for advanced capters. While stuff like adding a mentioned char or credits at the end of a finished e-book, can be much more expensive. Participation in polls (if you want to go that route should actually be already available at a pretty low costs. As Polls can help to make the overall story better so the more people participate the more you can get out of a poll. A poll with just 20 hier tier patrons participating, might be a lot less helpful for you then a poll with 200 or so of the mid and high tier patrons participating.

Thanks for the heads up! I really enjoy the story and consider anything around 5-10$ / month reasonable. Not sure I would be interested in the additional rewards so it might mean a lower pledge from me compared to the current amount but if you get more patreons from it then go for it!
