🕑 Added 2020-06-02 14:17:13 +0000 UTCHey all :). First of all I wanted to show you this piece. I've gone back and forth with the artist and the final version is pretty close to how I imagined Ilea back in the Tremor dungeon.
Currently no shoutout/credit to the artist because he's super fucking busy and told me he would get back to me about that.
As an additional thing, I like the idea of launching an art contest for Azarinth Healer. To get people involved, have some art done finally, and well, contests are fun usually.
Currently thinking on doing an open contest where everyone can upload / link their creations with Patrons voting on the final versions in the end (Prize money for the top 5 or 10).
Any thoughts and ideas there are welcome, as well as advice on what would work best for the artists. Please contact me if you have any experience with this.

It doesn't have an art channel but you should be able to find the discord in the tier rewards somewhere. I would link but I'm not sure if getting access to the different patreon discord tiers needs to go through certain links or something?

Finally! Always felt this web novel was under loved with so very little art. Truth be told a little more details with descriptions would be nice. I always felt the way you describe people was rather vague but thats just me

I like that visual for the ash tendrils/tentacles. They call to mind a fractal pattern of ever smaller filaments branching outward. I always thought the ash was perfect as a magical version of utility fog. Utility fog as an advanced nano/pico/femto/atto-meter technology is basically magic anyway, so there is no particular reason to nitpick about terminology when one could just enjoy the story.

Oooh, art contest! Sweet. Assuming you have little experience working with artists, I guess the only thing you need to know upfront is what to do with the image rights. They decide what you (and the artist) gets to do with the art and who have the legal rights to use them. If you want to keep the rights (contest hosts who want the image rights may use the images commercially, for stuff like book covers, merchandise, promotion purposes ect), be sure to be upfront about it in the contest rules to avoid misunderstandings. Otherwise, art contests are pretty straight forward. Good luck to anyone who wants to enter.

You should decide on a few categories with specific important places, events, people, etc. that everyone should draw to make a good comparison and then have one more category for artists to draw whatever inspires them.
