Demerval Augusto da Cunha

when ilea and trian find the facility in khor and use it to go back to elos they saw hundreds maybe thousands of realms, so he can pick whatever he wants, if he trys to take elos again it would be for revenge, or bc hes to full of himself. i dont understand why would he do this.

Mark

Rumors that the chocolate chips are actually dragon poop are totally out of context. It's completely sanitary.

G. Harthane

would replace the old copies, might add a scene where she tests it

Collateral_ink

Kinda seems like it would make recruiting more difficult. Just imagine Trian wandering the streets of Ravenhall (soon to be renamed Dragonhall, definitely), going up to strangers and asking, "hey stranger, want to come back to the underground hideout of my cult, I mean organization, and eat a magic cookie?" Not suspicious at all...

Indy

as the story comes to an end we hopefully wont have to suffer an earth arc, i dont know any iskei story that got better by returning to earth. Beside that, why the hell should earth be of importance to the Ascended?

Jessy

Yeah, Garonoth took her to essentially the other side of the globe, she saw the north pole on the flight there. there is no way it was any where near where she normally explores.

Mark

Pretty sure she left it. After leaving, she regretted not taking or better yet burning it but didn't go back.

Mark

[Dragonmoon Cookies - Primordial Quality] - [Tasty, Hot]

Mark

The ocean was far to the east and described as endless, then Garonoth descended and closer to the east the land was dotted with fire. Sounds like north east part of Elos near the coast rather than a new continent.

Mark

How do the clones work for Cycle of Creation and Reality Warp, don't those skills just modify others? Though Reality Warp let's her block teleports but it's supposed to be at the cost of her own teleports.

Blaffey

Would be cool if they made an elixir of the dragon blood and blue moon grass for the next generation of sentinels

Han Pol

So she can basically summon a raid party capable of killing at least one powerful monster. maybe a few more. While she herself can likely trivialize most monsters below 3000 or 4000 and can beat most likely any sentinent creature below 2000.

Bob

I can see cults forming hoping some blood ritual will grant them a portion of liliths power, she is obviously willing to give out power to her dark emissaries, why wont she give us some too.

Carlo Aquino

Garonoth took her to the Eastern Continent. They flew so high that Ilea even saw the North Pole of Elos and they crossed the ocean rather quickly with Garanoth’s speed.

fennek

She hasn't tried to identify them. Now that she gets kill notifications from them, who knows.

AgentFransis

No? She fought the dragon at some random spot in the north north. I don't recall her crossing the ocean.

AgentFransis

Yup. Ilea "totally not a goddess, leave me alone" Spears casually plopping down dragons on mountains and sending ash avatars to heal the sick.

AgentFransis

...They have a unstoppable robot army. Ilea isn't even the prime deterrent. And if you start shit they take your gates. The human kingdoms are irrelevant at this point.

Collateral_ink

So powerful they can't even be identified. Yeah, this is gonna backfire hilariously.

deus vult

ughhh, I meant the navvuun were trying to take out the sun from inside the atmosphere. sorry, but there's a shitload of text and I have no idea why I wrote that in the first place. whatever.

Joel Bullock

Damn she's just not even gonna think about what the future songs/legends are gonna say about Lilith's dark emissaries, blessed with fractions of her immense power

Carlo Aquino

That was the Eastern Continent where she slayed the Dragon. I think Scipio was referring to the dragon as the first thing he has encountered on the Eastern Continent and almost killed him immediately

Julien Fellegara

@Deus Vult I read until you said "Take earth sun from their atmosphere." There, honnestly.. you lost me. 🤣

Collateral_ink

Yeah, I can see Ilea becoming an interdimensional nightmare for all remaining Ascended; probably get to the point they're too afraid to come out of their secret lairs and actually do their questionable science experiments. When Nes succeeds in reviving the Navuun she and Scipio are probably gonna raise them with stories like, "now be a good navuun or Lilith will come and wipe out your whole planet."

deus vult

there's still a chance that an ascendant is trying to take earth sun from their atmosphere. I just don't think it's kar valhor(forgive me for mispelling it). they just have to be greedy enough to not give a fuck about killing people. so they won't care what planet it's from. then again it's a massive undertaking and requires more than one person, but it does give a chance for illea to make a guest appearance on the other show, I think. we also still didn't have cless meeting her parents, that would make for great closure. I hope it'll happen in the future. but author first needs to establish background and characters for what's going around in earth, whether they're dead or not, so they're likely to start writing the other story before illea comes back to earth anyways. if they really did give up on it it's really not certain, but I think there might be a chance we'll just have to wait for it. that's in case there's a system apocalypse going on rn, if not earth probably has no mesh. if the mesh DID mess up with the mana in the local atmosphere and that's what caused earth to develop the way it was, it'll also make some sense. we can assume the mesh was completed which caused a sudden spike in the local mana which caused her teleport, alongside the system apocolypse. then illea comes back and destroys the mesh. hmmm, there's actually quite a lot of credence to thinking that a mesh's construction started causing earth's low mana density. like, earth's civilization is around 2000 years old. which is exactly how long they need to complete a mesh low effort. before that there were myths, and it overrall blends out pretty well. before they need to start building it they need to start collecting mana. and once it was completed everything went to shit, which is adding caos which is what they want. maybe there are entire groups of ascendants taking out suns from other realms, and illea needs to hunt them down one by one. one of them can be earth. Idk.

Joshua Little

Thanks for the chapter.

Collateral_ink

Solid points. I suppose it just seems incomplete and this represents a chance to tie it together; particularly since Harthane has said they want to bring the story to a close soonish. The idea of a System Apocalypse on Earth has merit, and I would love to get the story of that from Harthane if they want to write it. The only real clue we have about her appearance on Elos, that I can recall and that isn't speculation from the Fae, was when she got Core Points in chapter 481. She got retroactive points for actions already taken and they appear to be in chronological order. The first point she got was for "surviving an untouched Arcane Shift." That could be system apocalypse-ish, or it could be something else.

deus vult

there are high and low concentrations of mana accroding to the story. if the concentration is low enough such that it doesn't matter anyways I literally don't see a problem. I imagine space itself also has literally to no mana anyways, like oxygen, so if you want to travel through space you have to get used to the lower mana density. that doesn't prevent earth's population from using mana, what does however is their lower lifespan COMBINED with the low amount of mana in the atmosphere. the fae seems to believe that the reason illea and others got transported is due to a sudden spike in the concentration of mana around the planet. meaning that earth having mana caused a sudden shift in the fabric causing many others to be transported to other realms. while the system is simply how they percieve it anyways. it's not a real thing. it seems the author has canonically established that a system apocolypse is going on on earth. probably on par with their second story "ultrasound berserker".

Julien Fellegara

Third Sun Lilith! :O

hill44

Between the Sentinels and Ilea sending her ash copy around to heal, people are going to start developing an interesting view point when it comes to ash wielders.

deus vult

if everyone says she's a four mark and everyone suddenly sees three, people start questioning whether she's a three mark in the first place. it might lead to quite a lot of stupid people either trying to rip off the accords or outright attack them by "calling their bluff". they don't need to outright attack them, just attack their credibility. people would be quite sassy with them if they think they can somehow get away with it. it can affect diplomacy.

AgentFransis

We already know accidental realm travel happens occasionally due to random fluctuations in the fabric. The Fae explain it in their talk with Ilea. We also know Earth is a manaless realm so it's unsuited for the task.

Collateral_ink

The lack of Mana on Earth is sorta what makes me suspicious. Basically all of Ilea's Eldritch Sewing Circle friends say that's impossible, which makes me wonder if the reason there's "no mana" is because it's being sequestered somewhere. Like in a mesh a sneaky Ascended has been building for 3000 years.

Silver Beard

Isn't there one last Oracle in the Cursed Marshes? Time to tidy up before Erik arrives

AgentFransis

Ilea and the accords have long since established that they are firmly untouchable. The four mark evolution changes nothing in this regard with relation to humanity.

deus vult

earth has no mana, or close to none. I assume they need mana to complete to process, otherwise they could just harvest a star from the literally countless stars out there in the night sky. there's literally an endless amount of them, and the vast vast vast majority of them don't and cannot support sentient lifeforms, or any lifeforms at all. like, why pick a planet teeming with life when almost all of them are empty and lifeless? being able to only find planets with sentient life is kinda funny in my opinion. it's literally quite amazing to find one in the first place, but being able to ONLY do that is just weird. there are countless of planets, but 99.999999% of plants are dead, unhinabitable, and unable to support life. there's also been a mention of them wanting it to be a "safer process". and needing to create a "mesh". I assume a "mesh" is made of mana. so they need a planet with mana. so they're likely to pick a planet with two or more stars supporting it, that's teeming with mana. just so it could survive afterwards. not saying it's not possible, it is, but just unlikely is all I'm saying. as to why they would return to elos, probably for revenge. they want to come back and complete the process out of obsession and compulsion to do so.

hill44

Not to mention the other continent. What little is said about it mentions that its far more dangerous than where Ilea has been to this point.

Zarik0

Yeah with her harmony of ash now, she can spawn a thousand or so of them to assist and use as meat shield and cannon fodder for her 25 avatar "general"/officier/heavy hitter of the army of Ash/Lillith

b

Or, the other Sun the Architect could try to take is Ilea.

Collateral_ink

I've been wondering whether or not the idea that the Architect is going to take another of Elos' suns is a red herring. We know he's going to try to take some sun, because STORY, but everyone seems pretty damn sure it won't be Elos; which makes sense, because why attack someplace that is already potentially prepared to fight you off? However, if it isn't Elos, which sun would make sense? Khor has no sun, Erendar's sun is definitely what I would pick (because there's no one there to complain about it) but doesn't have a whole lot of story tension, which leaves only one potential sun that has story relevance: Earth's. Ilea needing to return to Earth is one of the remaining plot threads left un-examined, and if the Architect has been screwing around on Earth preparing to steal the sun, it could explain how/why Ilea and others like Cless got transported to another realm. Thoughts?

Tequila Worm

Tyfc

GuyMagoo

I would like to see nations try to attack Ilea and her org out of existential fear. Lol

The 49th Khan

Pretty sure Ilea burnt that up.

Julien Fellegara

Arg.. another problem. The spell is to rigid with the way magic work at her level. Leading to a lot of problems. If we think a bit, her clones are just ash imbued with power. So she is already able to make them fly, give them order, create any amount of them she want, hardening them, heating them.. etc. So her spell should be "You are now able to imbu construct with your own powers, heal and mana, and give them complex orders." In fact, in close combat, her ash can already benefict from every spell and passif she has when in her her dominion, AND fly, be moved/teleported. The more i read this spell the more i think it need a profound rethink.

MrGravelord

thanks for the chapter. Isn't the big flesh ball she turned into when attacked by the architect's trap still there? No mention of it though, so maybe someone took it, or the demons ate it...

deus vult

I don't think she should hide her level if it only reduces it to three marks, it'll just add more confusion and people would start to think they were lied to about her reaching four mark. it's not a good idea, if people for some reason think she's actually weak for some reason they might attack and it'll only end up with more people dead. diplomatically I don't see anything wrong with her showing her power unless she wants to hide. and she can't do that now, so yeah.

Monika Djomi

Can all her clones fly ? Reason I asked is way back when she first got the ability she could create constructs of almost any shape and they moved about by floating. Her clones however seemed to mostly walk. So can all her constructs (clones included ) fly?

Monika Djomi

That makes a lot of sense actually

Julien Fellegara

Hey, she should be able to create her usual clone in masse ( the same she used before evolving) and task them to assist the other clone. Should help, they are the same, just without ability.

Jessy

Im amazed she can already do what she can do, she does not have a class dedicated to creating clones of herself, which is what i would think what you described would be part of. these clones are just an afterthought.

BurnNote

Ilea has unlocked passive grinding

Julien Fellegara

So true. And also, instead of creating random 25 each hour, i would have been soooooo hyped with something like: "You can now create one double of yourself each day, inbuing it with 5 slots of skill or passifs of your choice, using to half your max health and mana to strengthen it, with a max of 25 doubles. (0/25)" THAAAT would be awesome. Bah, already good enough. Just that i feel that there is to much restriction and rigidness on this spell at this level.

Viria

Inb4 people start referring to the True Reconstruction Ash copy as the Goddess of Healing's Avatar 😅

Monika Djomi

I am a bit confused. Why does she have to choose between clones to send somewhere? The skill said she can create 25 at a time every hour. It never said she cannot have more than 25 running at a time. She can just create them wait an hour and create another set and another and another untill she has an army and send them to Erandar. That way they do the cleaning while she is enjoying her vacation. Multiple copies of the reconstruction skill goes about healing people and Meadow gets what she wants. All happening simultaneously.

Carlo Aquino

Hopefully she explores the rest of Elos next. There’s still much to see like the Orc tribes and The Vampire Courts

Han Pol

Thanks for the chapter. It will be quite interesting to see somebody interact with one of her "weak copies."

Alsia

Thanks for the chapter :)

Gian

wooh! TYFC~

WarStrider72
