Chris

If he didn't hold back he would murder these little tier three's at school

Hamfist

To be fair, the prolog indicates that he had very little experience with other people in his first life.

Hamfist

Yeah, Julius is being such a coward with all this "don't reveal your trump cards BS". Everybody knows that real men never use any sort of tactics or strategy except yelling really loud while charging straight at their enemy. He really needs to man up.

Conrad Manaugh

Time for nosy

ThoMiCroN

No, he just wants to have fun and if he finishes the duel in one second it wouldn’t be fun for him nor would it show the opponent’s talent to the recruiters.

unmellow the gamer

People don't know what happened outside the school. The spectators either ran away before they saw that or are prisoners. + He is still going to have a lot of attention as a powerful combatant by the end. He said himself this tournament has no stakes for him so why risk giving his enemies who might be watching him information on his to beat him? He doesn't hold back against real threats. Unless it's fun or helps him train lol.

joey

I'm pretty sure it's just the girls that are talking to Lily. Though admittedly the Grammer suggests that it's the girl in the arena.

Time to save up a few chapters

Dominic French

Yeah its a little weird that at the center of an arena she notices one person in particular watching her, I mean a whole crowd of people is watching and dissecting her moves?

Noah

Getting kind of annoyed with his constant desire to “hold back.” It makes him seem really rude, cocky, and hard to root for. I also fail to see how it serves him any good in this situation. The easiest way to get people to get off his back is to show that he’s too powerful to be messed with. Particularly when he’s planning on dropping out of school at the end of the year. His whole blowing himself up stunt against the Tier 5 wasn’t totally private either. If people really wanted to find out more about his strength then they’d just look into his time with the princess away from school.

Charles Owens

"Of course, like all good things, his peaceful examination of the girl’s magic was brought to an end when the girl’s finally noticed his presence and they put their attention onto him." That seems a bit ambiguous. The first girl should be the fighter in the arena and the second girl's should be the four girls talking to Lily but this could be interpreted as the fighter noticing Julius' attention as well.

Benjamin Collins

Love this story I binge read from chapter 1 in a week or two I couldn't put the thing down and when I finished the chapters on RR I just had to continue here now I'm sad I'm at the last written chapter and don't know what to read

Thomas Grimshaw

Also.... However, this girl was doing in such a way, -> However, this girl was doing SO in such a way,

Kanyau

Ah, so they're 100% the nosy type then.

Not entirely sure but, don't most people just shove mana through their skills and call it good? Willpower tends to go along with aura and while making and controlling it requires a skill, that's where individual's willpower usually clashes. What I got from that paragraph is that the flowers are like his freezing technique but maybe even stranger, relying more on willpower to form the field than the mana making up the flowers. Also, Julius first made his mana constructs by adding more and more mana in different ways, minimal willpower other than the will to keep practicing. Alt suggestion: Imbuing mana into your mana construct was a normal...

Tanner Lannister

A group of teenage girls not being the nosy type? What type of life of experience you have in the first life to not know better

Edit suggestions: "Imbuing mana into your mana was a normal thing to do and something essential if you want to create anything of real substance. However, this girl was doing in such a way, that he couldn’t help but feel like her constructs were more of a construct of willpower rather than mana." - " Imbuing willpower into your mana was a normal thing to do and something essential if you want to create anything of real substance. Thanks for the chapter. And like Ikawaii said: Imbuing mana into your mana => Imbuing willpower into your mana (Based on the preceding sentence…)

Sloth

Gah! I need to let these chapters build up! These cliffhangers are always killer

Justin Mott

Imbuing mana into your mana -> Imbuing willpower into your mana

Sipke van der Meulen

tftc, grammar moment: "Imbuing mana into your mana" should be willpower i think?

Sébastien Kingsbury

Imbuing mana into your mana -> that first mana should be willpower right?

Amanda
