{SHORT REPORTS} Sif Animation - June 10, 2025
🕑 Added 2025-06-10 14:09:45 +0000 UTCHello, everyone! Here is a SHORT report, which will be dominated by text this time. There are no photos, as I don't like to show the final scenes, but we will be talking about them.
Yesterday, I finished animating the last scene of the animation. I say โanimatingโ and not โdoingโ because I've now done the main animation part, but I still need to add physics, finish the facial expressions, and prepare the last frames for rendering. I decided to focus on completing the main animation work because now I can send a rough version of the animation to the voice actor in advance. And while he is voicing the animation, I will calmly render it and make minor edits. And there will be fewer problems with lip sync in the final scenes. Actually, I think I'll choose a voice actor within 1-2 days. I still need to do the fluid physics, which is my weak point. I feel that this is something I need to work on in my upcoming animations. Perhaps I'll tackle this more thoroughly in Other Mother. I'm also intimidated by the hair physics, which I think I'll tackle first. The last few frames use slightly unnatural poses and poses in which the head is in unusual positions. This means that the hair will be in a super difficult position for animation. But I think I'm ready for anything. I can also say that the coin has been tossed and I think you will like the climax scene. I think I'll release the WIP animation within a week, although there may be delays, and I'll post it closer to the release date. Overall, there's not much to talk about. I've done everything I planned and even more. What's left is a rather tedious part of the work without any interesting elements. I don't think I'll have any issues with the body's physics. I'll add some saliva and other small fluids for a more pleasant and moist image. Overall, I think after it I can focus on composing all the animation fragments into a single video file and preparing it for release.
The total length of the video is 16 minutes and 28 seconds. It does not include any logo time, credits, or other transitions between scenes. It turned out to be much longer than I intended.
Well, I haven't learned how to do it any other way yet, although I should. Now i'm going to try to finish working on the animation, and I wish you all good health! And wished all the best! See you in the next report. I don't know when yet, but it will definitely be coming!
