i don't think you should crap on yourself or think you've broken your promise. While it's true that updates are less frequent, your art has also improved a lot, so it takes more time to get it to the level of quality you want. I don't think you should say they've you've failed your new years resolution either, you can't expect to gain the speed you want straight away. You just have to keep going until you reach your goal.

it is always rough to not accomplish the task you set out to do, but i wouldnt say you failed miserably. You did produce something and it is good. Its all to easy to focus on the negatives, wich can become a vicious negative spiral. Doing something smaller like sketches wich you may or may not "finish" can be a great way to help with managing scope. Im in it for the long run, whatever is that you draw and regardless how muchcontent is produced.

I respect the selfless honesty of admitting to your own broken promise. But, I don’t think you should be discouraged or humiliated at all. Your art is downright amazing and truly unique, and I think you may have just been overzealous about your return to creation. It’s hard to get on a treadmill when it’s already at max speed. Take your time, be comfortable, and don’t think of yourself as a burden on us. We’re all very happy to support you! ❤️
