The mind solves problems and continues working on things even when you are not focused on it, and in fact it is better to go do something else for a bit to let that process happen. Don't be beholden to one thing, take a break and do something else for a bit. You might find that when you come back or while you're away you'll have new ideas. tldr: Take time for yourself, it's a good thing. I personally support to allow you to keep making things, even if it's something I personally am not into. It's still good stuff.
