Sometimes when I draw fantasy world's characters, I am very concerned about the worldview of the characters. But I think the Xenoblade series will be fine. :D

Since it is a sci-fi series, someone could have been transported from a different dimension or something of the sorts and they brought a good amount of duct tape with them

Like the previous comments said, given it's a sci-fi setting, tape is likely to exist. Potentially, you could go and make tape-like bindings that have a glow for that sci-fi feel, if you want.

I don't even mind using tape for any characters from inspired-real world or fantasy world even if it's considered not exist in such world, cause tape is just cute and great! And Xenoblade is actually a sci-fi series so let's just say duct tape does exist in that world 😁😁
