🕑 Added 2025-12-18 09:00:11 +0000 UTC6 years ago I was saying goodbye to my beloved lake in the Peak District. It's were I started wildswimming all year around. That place is pure magic, and I'd love to visit it again; one of these places very close to my heart.
After that I went travelling to Spain and France for a couple of months with my van so the picture of the sea is from my last dip in the UK until I returned to the UK just before lockdown.
Can you spot any differences between the Angela then and my current self?

Highly recommended, it's very charming and varied (moors, woodland, rivers, mountains, gorges...). It's cute! Great that you've visited so much! Whereabouts are you in the world?

Been right round , mainland britain, , all the coastal routes , and most of it inbetween, as the lakes is pretty close, and scotlands just up the road , but never been to the Peak District ,

I worked in Matlock and lived in Matlock Bath. I loved the whole area. I must go back for a holiday.

Which lake in the Peak District? It's one of my favourite parts of England, I lived there for a year many years ago.
