Sol fragments
🕑 Added 2024-04-04 19:18:39 +0000 UTCTomorrow marks release day for the "Wood Cabin" demo, available only to Crimson Moon supporters. In this demo, you may come across glowing objects that restore Lily's energy to full. These are known as 'Sol Fragments'. For every 5 fragments Lily collects, they'll combine to form a 'Sol Petal', which permanently increases her maximum energy. Asides from collecting fragments, defeating certain bosses will also grant extra petals.
Lily starts with 8 Sol Petals, as you may have already experienced. This can eventually be raised to a maximum of 32, allowing Lily to free herself more easily from the increasing complex restraints found deeper within the prison.
Lastly, for people curious about Lily's backstory, Sol Petals are one method of showing insight into who she is. As you gain more Sol Petals, you will gain access to scenes from her past.

This was actually a tough choice, but in the end, after we finished discussing the maximum amount of energy Lily should have, I decided on five fragments for one energy increase . The total amount of fragments was already determined on beforehand based on the planned areas and events, so there's not much wiggle-room there at the moment unless certain areas/events turn out different from the original plan. The August demo will probably be a good moment for feedback on this though.🤔

I wonder if 5 pieces might be too much. I'm already used to collecting only four pieces of Blue Orb fragment, Broken Witch Heart or Spirit Orbs to raise health meters.
