As the new year arrives, I thought I could start planning things for the future. There is a topic I wanted your opnion about, which is about making old Fanbox posts public. Also, I wanted to know a bit more about the amount of people who are interested in commissioning a drawing.

About posting old drawings for the general public. My full works are a priviledge for you all who paid to see this content, as well as some side sketches, and your support is my motivation to keep drawing. Before fanbox, my drawings were more scarce and I wouldn't dare to do bigger works like comics. I am very grateful for your support. Still, I understand that there's people that have no means to pay on this platform due to the payment methods restrictions. I have tried to check alternative platforms but one never replied to my request despite sending multiple emails, and the other one requires me to give private information to verify my age, which I am not comfortable with. I would also like to share my drawings with whoever would enjoy them, but this is something you all have paid for, so I would like to ask you all first. I was thinking of making public select posts that are 1 year old or so. I would like your opnion on this.
About commissions. As you know, I have been working on commissions whenever I had enough time through each month. I have been declining requests from users that have gotten a drawing from be before to be able to give everyone an opportunity. I thought it was time to see how things are going so I made a survey to study the situation. I will use this information to plan my commissions for next year.

honestly from another perspective publishing stuff public might help you with traction since a lot of your locked post are quite superb.

I think it's ok to make old posts public. I support artists when I can because I want to show appreciation for their art, so I don't mind if the art is made public after a while. When it comes to commissioned art, how comfortable are you with the commissioner sharing it? I've considered sharing the art I commissioned a few months ago, but I wasn't sure if you would be ok with me doing so or not. Thank you very much!

I think it’s fine to let old posts go public after a while. I can’t speak for everyone but I support artists/creators I like because I want to show my appreciation for their work that I enjoy, not for “exclusive access” to it. If you want to make old pieces public, I say go ahead.

Hello. I am glad you think that way of me. I looked for alternative platforms because there are people who cannot use the payment methods that pixiv and fanbox offer. I checked Skeb too, but it required me to have a Japanese bank account to receive the payments. Thank you for your support through the year! I hope to be able to continue making drawings that you enjoy.

Hey, Mr. ET Thanks for posting your illustrations at the end of the year. Seeing your art always nourishes me. About the platform thing— I think using the request feature on pixiv or Skeb could be one option. What do you think? ...You've probably considered it once or twice already. Looking forward to more wonderful illustrations next year.
