Glad mamanya is starting to feel better! I knew Japan summers were brutal but I underestimated how humid it truly feels ;~; I think some magazines or puzzles will help her pass the time (or maybe watch Chiikawa with her !)

Glad to hear she's feeling good enough to say she's bored. If it's something to give to her, maybe a book you can also read or have already read to talk on your visits, if you can't leave anything after visiting, I'd suggest an UNO or some other simple card game. If all that fails, just talk to her about your day, sometimes that helps a lot

Feel like you can't go wrong with crossword puzzles or sudoku to help pass the time if she's cut off from the internet lol I've gotten way into crossword puzzles lately, we do them during downtime at work sometimes lol That's crazy it's so hot there, you need a little handheld fan lol hope Mamanya is keeping cool! Its weird that the rest of the hospital didn't have any type of cooling. They should at least have small fans at the reception areas. Those poor nurses that have to be there all day. Is your mom well enough to use a mobile device or read a book? If she doesn't have anything on her phone that she can use then if you have any extra tablet that she can use? I'm not sure if she is in a condition where she can look at a screen or read for long periods of time. Aww I bet the two of you look so cute together. I'm hoping she can leave the hospital soon and have an easy time recovering.
