Yeah, As for Chara Studio you may have to explore it by yourself mostly. Any tool is ok if you get familiar, and actually I started animation learning by Maya at first.

I'm just really interested to know why you have chosen Chara Studio over blender, especially that I struggle to find any tutorials on it online. Were you a self-learner?

I think it depends on your purpose. Blender is more functional and flexible when making the motions.
