Just yesterday, to break the election tension, I turned to my husband in the kitchen and yelled, "BUTTLICKER, OUR PRICES HAVE NEVER BEEN LOWER." This episode cracks me up every time.

Kelly was being spiteful but Michael has never been good at disciplining employees and (anyways) he can totally understand where Kelly is coming from. Jim has blown Mike off multiple times, so often that in order to get him to come over ONE TIME for dinner, Mike had to legit trick him. He understands how Kelly feels so he's not actually going to punish her, but he's trying to make it look like he is cuz Dwight and Jim are watching, so he tells her to cry, but the whole situation is silly so they both laugh. It's kind of a sweet bonding moment for Kelly and Michael, although considering how ridiculous those characters are it's obviously ridiculous.

I think this is the episode that sort of sparks the rest of the season to be my favorite season of the office

Great episode! Kelly did the deed on her own, they were just laughing at her fake crying. The Michael coming clean about the engagement, I really wish they had held the scene longer and shown them walking out of his office shaking their heads or something.

"MR BUTTLICKER OUR PRICES HAVE NEVER BEEN LOWER" Dwight you never yell at the customer......hahahaha, and then Michael had to consider wether or not he should fire Dwight for the $1million dollar sale. I cried laughing the first time I saw it and every time since.

Yeah I think the laughing at the end was just because Michael wanted her to pretend to cry, and while pretending she just started to laugh. Kelly is definitely the type of person to take revenge in that sort of way. Haha.
