To me it was very obvious that Eddie is an angry person, from the way he didn’t expect Theresa breaking up with him and punching Ryan out. Also her getting pregnant is also a no brainier she was about to get married at 17.....

The OC played with clichés on purpose, with its humor it was what Josh Schwartz wanted to play with and made its charm, but yeah maybe it’s overplayed today.

I’m curious to why they don’t have an extra room in that giant house for Ryan to sleep in. I mean, that kind of puts a plot hole in the house giving Ryan, a teenager, a whole pool house to inhabit.

In my opinion Marissa has all the right to be upset. Sure they were broken up (kind of?) but Ryan should've told Marissa about everything that happened between him and Theresa after they got back together. I would feel like I couldn't trust Ryan if he did that to me. At least I would've told my partner.

Yeah the episode aired 16 years ago, so trope for sure but not necessarily beaten to death yet. Season Finale next, I remember watching it all that time ago, and the fact that it was a whole half year before the next episode.
