an invitation... and where we were last week :)
🕑 Added 2025-02-14 14:10:28 +0000 UTCI can't believe I get to say this, but last week Elli and I went to Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands in Spain, to celebrate my 30th birthday! (things so much more affordable when you don't have to cross an entire ocean to get there 😅) It was an amazing trip, and I've uploaded every single video I took while there in this post, AKA, BIRDS!
It was such an incredible experience being able to focus solely on capturing the birds on this beautiful island, and I soaked up every moment. I took almost 1,200 pictures of birds alone... Did you know there are almost 400 bird species on these little islands? Or... did you know that the Canary Islands are actually closer to Africa than they are to Europe?
When I'm feeling any sort of stress, I often find myself listening to ambience music or sound frequency music and it immediately calms me down. Whether or not you find yourself interested in looking at these super cool bird species 😉, I invite you, if you so choose, to take 5 minutes and 30 seconds of your day to enjoy a nice warm beverage and listen to some soothing sounds of nature.

Happy Birthday!! I know the USA has a lot of wonderful things to see but it just seems when you live in Europe, the world seems to open up to so many more sightseeing opportunities at a great price. So glad you two were able to have the opportunity and fun. And I absolutely love the video

hugs and congratulations, looks like you had a wonderful birthday and a great week in the Canary Islands. And what a wonderfully beautiful film Are there many vanlifers who spend the winter on those islands, ferry from Spain. The next trip will be to Cape Verde, they say they are also nice islands
